If you haven’t bought the game and you’re thinking of buying it soon, DON’T.
This game is half of what Halo 4 was and lower that of Reach. Short campaign, awful story, frustrating aim mechanics, pay 2 win warzone, and the lack of gamemodes and ORIGINAL Maps at launch, honestly makes this the worst Halo to date IMO
I don’t care if they promised Forge for free to make it look like they sound like a good company. It’s already suppose to be free in the first place and in the game at launch. No, they delay it for later and tell you they’re adding free content that is just cheap forge maps and remixes. GREAT! As longs as its free. Let Me Show you something.

Please explain to me how they manage to ship less content than a game that came out 3 years ago on older hardware??? I’m just done with these Triple A games showing next to no innovations, additions, or improvements instead cutting content that should be there in the first place for the same price. 343 doesn’t get to choose when the game releases. They get told when to have it finished by and if they can’t do it oh well what is finished gets shipped. At least future content is free
Agreed. I told my friends I’d wait to make the purchase until the forge update adds back what’s been missing, and we’re still lacking gametypes. I can’t recommend this to anyone.

Forge is free and was always free. No one ever said it was going to cost $$$
The REQ system rewards players who play the longest. Paying money gets you a leg up in completing your REQ collection. Also you get more armor pieces from the war zone packs than you did in the war game pass.
While content is definitely lacking at this moment, it doesn’t meant the game isn’t enjoyable.
whether anyone likes it or not is just all opinions.
Worth is also determined by the individual.
Some $10 dollar indie that has little content but fun regardless can be worth more to someone than some $60+ game with large amounts of content that may not be so fun towards whomever.

No it is not. You can run through h3 on legendary in like 4 hours.
Campaign length is subjective, it took me 20 hours to complete over 3 days and I only played on heroic. All about how you play - if you just blast thorugh then sure, you’re going to complete it in no time. My legendary run will be a little shorter and subsequent runs will speedrunning.

I know, 343 saying that forge will be free later is way to make fools think that they’re doing good for the community when it should be free anyways and in at launch. 343 never made it clear. Dude, regardless if you have all the common to rare reqs, a PREMIUM Pack shouldn’t give you 2 uncommon smgs with a recycled sight and a rare weapon certification,
I agree that there could be more content especially maps. They’ll come though. Just learn and enjoy the maps that are there. Most halos only have like 5-8 good maps anyway. But halo 5 is a thousand times better than halo 4.
