Halo 5 is working without the disc

Maybe this sounds strange or stupid but that’s my problem. I bought Halo 5 in physical, never at digital. And now I realized by accident that the game can works without I put my CD I’m the XBOX.

Why is this happening? And if it continues what problems will I have for it? I mean what problems will earn my XBOX for this strange situation?

Isn’t normal at all because before it said that it was necessary having the CD inside or being owner of the Halo 5 digital, thing I never bought on digital.

I hope someone can answer me this situation.

Are you subscribed to Xbox Gamepass? Have you checked your purchase history to make sure your account didn’t buy a digital version of halo 5?

Hey OP, Halo 5 was on a free to play weekend this weekend: April 12th to the 16th as part of the hype for the Halo World Championship Finals in Seattle.
