Hey guys. I was really excited to play this game but whenever I join a game it is so laggy. Im skipping from location to location and just dieing out of no where. People are walking into walls. I’ve joined 3 games and all times this has happened. It is unplayable. My connection with xbox is fine and my network cknnection is always good. Any ideas/is this happening to anyone else?!?! I’m really frustrated right now.
yeah having same problem… its weird if i play with my one friend i get no lag but if he gets off i lag in every game and wanna kill myself… help me pls this game is good when people don’t walk into walls and then i end up dead.

In the u.s. no lag.
Well, since Halo 5 uses dedicated servers, I’m inclined to believe the problem is with your internet.

Where are you from? I’m from the Boston area US and I haven’t encountered any issues like these. Sometimes the aiming feels off but that’s the extent of my issues so far besides the servers going down for me earlier.

Same here, perfect connection so far.
I got this game on October 30, just a few days ago I play and no lag. Two days later Lag in every playlist & every game.
And don’t ask I have Great Connection.
They need to split up the Good connection from the Bad.
I want better game play
Halo is the game but not with Lag!!!
It’s probably because you’re connection is going to data centres the other side of the world.
I have the same exact problem. Halo 5 is really laggy for me. I did a little bit of research and it seems like a small percentage of us can hardly play Halo 5. Before anyone blames my internet, my connection is fine and I can play other games lag free. I love this game and I really want to enjoy it but with it being so laggy its kind of hard. 343i please patch this quickly for the small number of us that have trouble playing.
P.S. Love the game, Just wish I could play it smoothly.
Its the servers, try getting into a match for 1/2 minutes and getting dropped THEN getting banned, even though my internet is at full strength and my console if fine. only happens in matchmaking…
I regularly see people teleporting all over the place. I also notice bullets going straight through walls. And punches hit me all the time while I already used thruster to get away and I just see them punch the air. I feel like I am almost half a second behind everybody in the game…
I’m having no issue with Lag, I’ve played 133 matches so far and not one has been overly laggy…
