If any of you heard of Halo Follower, you would know that they are one of the biggest sources of Halo news, updates, and how to videos. This video gives the facts using actual sales, by number of copies sold not amount of money made. For Halo Follower to say this is huge because they have been accused of being extremely biased. This video compares sales numbers of other Halo games to support the fact that Halo 5 is the worst selling core Halo game ever. I want Halo to do well but we can’t look away when 343 is killing the franchise. I still play Halo 5 but I’m forcing myself to like it. This video also supports the fact that the majority of Halo fans probably want an older version of Halo and that 343 is trying too hard to bring in new players. This method is clearly failing. Just watch the video.

He only talks about physical copies. I think he greatly underestimates the amount of digital copies sold. Almost everyone I know bought a digital copy so they could play at midnight. I could easily see digital copies being another 1-1.5 million sales. Also what are these sources? Anything that isn’t an official microsoft source doesn’t mean anything
First of all, no, Halo Follower is not a significant source of news. He does not even have accurate numbers as he does not have access to digital sales information. Secondly, wait to compare sales until Halo 5 is done making sales. Every game you are comparing it to had years and years of sales. Halo 5 is not even half a year old.

Thank you. Anyone who knows anything knows halofollower talks out his -Yoink- most of the time. So theres strike one. No one has released digital copies numbers (all my friends and i bought digital so we could play at midnight) so theres strike two. And lastly people are still buying it for xmas so theres strike three.

Except it does mean something. It means that the sales figures you have seen arent accurate and are in fact lower than actual total sales since the digital games dont count toward that number.

Well if its popular than that usually means its good. The fact that its losing numbers compared to the older halos says something. It could be due to competing games but we will really never know.

No it doesnt. Look at every michael bay movie, the twilight movies, call of duty games, etc. popular most certainly does not mean good.
I love the ignorant and these post and never considered of the amount of other video games that were out on the market at times of different Halo games franchises have exploded since 2007 and no one ever considered that that might be a reason why Halo doesn’t sell as much also halo is a old franchise people sometimes get bored out of it doesn’t necessarily mean that the game company that’s making it is doing a bad job

This, just this. Halofollower talks some -Yoink-. Channels like ReadyUpLive, Cheif Cannuck, Halo Canon …etc are much better!

Watch the video. Digital copies are projected to make up only 200,000 sales or so.
It’s really not as simple as “343 broken Haloz, it suxorz now so peepull dint buy it, har har.” Good try though.
