Personally, I can’t help but laugh at how absolutely stupid this video is. We already know 343i/Microsoft said they planned on continuing Halo for roughly the next 30 years and nearly everything this guy says is just pulled out of nowhere and stating it like it’s facts.
“MCC currently only has 5000 players online” and “MCC and Destiny are similar games” just made me rofl.
I didn’t know it was possible, but I think this video might have been even worse than a BDobbinsFTW video.
I love Halo, and it is definetely my favorite franchise. I spent probably 12 hours on the H5 Beta. I spent a lot more hours on the H3 beta. I can honestly say that I like H5 better (from what I’ve played). So why didn’t I play it more? Because there was more games out than when H3 beta was out. Because I am older now and have a lot more on my plate.
Halo 5 will do well. Oh and on topic, that youtuber was hilarious. He’s so passionate about what he’s saying but it doesn’t even make sense. Amazing entertainment.

What a horrible video. The worst part is that people will take this and run, blowing it out of proportion and actually believe it.
I swear, people need to stop calling the bdobbins video “bad”. Sure, he has some viewpoints I do not agree with and is a bit aggressive, but most of what he says is fact and not opinion. Then he makes logical assumptions based on said facts, you may not agree but that does not make him “bad” or “stupid”
More on topic, as somebody who watches the linked guys videos on occasion, this video did not really have anything to back it up at all.
BdubbinsFTW does not compare to this guy. This guy is basically letting Halo die without doing anything to stop it. BdubbinsFTW however states what must be done to save the series.
On another note, Halo 5 guardians was the most fun iv’e had in a halo game ever I spent 72hrs on it, because at the time it was school holidays.
I am in agreement. This… ProtoMario is an ignorant fool. The Halo franchise still has at least 2 more games to fulfill for the Reclaimer Saga, not to mention the inevitability of side games that will follow after their releases. And who knows what may come after that? There are THOUSANDS of stories to be told within the Halo universe. Bonnie Ross herself even said she envisions Halo continuing on for 30 more years. And I’d believe it too. We’ve got a long way to go before this franchise settles happily into it’s grave. It is insolence to believe the results of one faulty release will send it there.
Also, really? ProtoMario? Who in Satans fire thought it would be a good idea to combine a chubby plumber with the epic and chill Protoman? By the Prophets I want to kill this guy…
I can see why he didn’t like the Beta… he already sucks at old Halo based off of his gameplay in the background. How in the world was he going to learn an entire new game with new abilities and mechanics? lol
Halo 5 had the most exciting gameplay since Halo 2 or 3, and its evolved take on classic Halo, I think will be a big step forward for the series. The game just felt damn good! Wasn’t without its issues, but it was headed in the right direction IMO, without a doubt.

I think 343i wants to move away from the numbered Halo titles, so I wouldn’t be surprised if after Halo 6 they just dropped the numbers in replacement for subtitles.

Dobbins is just as bad. And this Proto guy is grade-A, corn fed, barn raised, -Yoink!--birthed, drown-in-his-own-soup, down home “differently abled person” (you know the kind I mean).
The moment I saw the opening, I knew I was in for some bad things.
But this video has to be from another dimension, like, this is grade A crazy talk.
At least that wack job BdubbinsFTW attempts to back up his claims (and fails. at least he tried.)

This person clearly only sees halo as yet another FPS. he has no idea the lore behind it or the multitude of this people love about it.
But, like Linkin Park stated, “in the end it doesn’t even matter”. Just dislike this guy’s video and move on.
