I have Played every Halo game and loved them all but Halo 5’s Campaign Is by far the best I have played to date. Note I have yet to finish the Game but I have Absolutely loved everything that I Have played so far. Side note I have read all but 2 books, read all the comics, and seen all the video media for Halo. I can say that if you are new to Halo you will have a very hard time understanding what is going on. Because of this i can understand why some people might give it a lower score.
However The GamePlay is stellar. All the new abilities are soooo satisfying to use and work very well with the map designs. AND The MAPS! OMG! They are so well crafted. They look amazing and are designed in a way that allows you to combat enemies in hundreds of different way. That combined with your teammates… Anyone that though your teammates were nothing bases on the Preview Gameplay we got before launch you should know that no one was using them to their fullest. The number of ways you can engage opponents utilizing them is nearly infinite you just have to put in the time to strategically place them. The only complaint I have with them is that i wish I could order them individually.
343 You have done an Outstanding job crafting this Game.
I just wanted to say that Now I’m going to go finish the game.
Please no spoilers.
Yes, Halo 5 is fantastic. 1337/10 best gaem evar.
I loved the campaigns, not giving anything away but one of the new characters is an instant favorite of mine

I’ll be on the look out. I couldn’t stay up that late last night so tonight will be my first foray into the game. I’ve been watching the leaks and spoilers though, so I know some of what happens, but purple is intriguing.
So far so good! This is a welcome change for halo.
It was OK. Overall 75/100 at best when you include the PvP. At leas there will be one decent current gen shooter on Xbox One justifying having one.
The story is just a 51/100 (this means it was not bad but it was not good either) and I am being generous as fan who has read and played everything halo several times over: It was bland it was boring and ended on a cliffhanger (the lowest form of story telling next to in-coherency). There was no real sense of urgency or the world will end and the monumental failure of Osiris and Blue team when it does for most part anyways is underplayed.
The most annoying issue I have is that the ad campaign leading up to the launch was a lot more exciting than the game (that is saying something since I did not care for it much). I think they may have consulted the masters of swindling at Bunge or something: Implying one thing and delivering another of lesser quality. Where is the Master Chief/Locke lying in rubble face off? Why the traitor nonsense in the trailers? What was the point of “hunt the truth” beside keeps us somewhat entertained? Where is the walk in the sand from the first trailer?
I just cannot figure out why games can get away with lying in advertisements considering “Truth In Advertising”
