I’ve bought Halo 5, Black Ops 3 and Fallout 4, yet the whole time I’ve been playing BO3 and Fallout 4 I’ve been craving to play more Halo 5.
Halo is probably my 2nd favourite game this year after Witcher 3.
The game is just a much better shooter than BO3 on every level (coming from someone who thought BO2 was better than Halo 4) and with Fallout 4 I feel like I’m just going through the motions, especially when it’s plagued with problems that still persist from when I first noticed them in Oblivion (like the dodgy melee combat, poor animations, poor characterisation and questionable texture quality).
I wanted to make this thread to say that I think Halo 5 is a better game than people are giving it credit, it’s got its flaws no doubt (the campaign and lack of Blue Team mainly for me) but the MP has a fantastic foundation and the gameplay is genuinely enjoyable and competetive to me. Things like the aiming issues are being ironed out and we have a lot of promised future free content so I’m hopeful the game will be even better than it currently is.
Well done 343i, I have my complaints and will voice them so you strive to continue to make the game better, but you’ve hit the nail on the head with the multiplayer for me in the areas that matter. Get the campaign right in Halo 6 and you could make the best Halo of them all.
That’s good to hear. I’ve been loving my experience in Halo 5 so far. I was watching Fallout4 streams today and I’m interested in getting it but I only have so much time for games.
I think it runs the smoothest out of most of the games released this holiday. Witcher had many glitches and fallout has extremely inconsistent frame-rate. Should not be dropping to 0 fps at any time. Tsk tsk bethesda. Is halo 5 the best, eh maybe, Do I enjoy it, definitely
I watched some CS:GO cause it’s “popular”, but it was soooo dang boring and it was 2 Pro teams duking it out. COD:BOP3 is like a step up from that, still pretty boring, to watch anyway. Maybe more fun to play, and I did like COD:MW2 when I played a while ago except for dieing from streaks. And, there’s no point to their movement abilities in that game, really, except to flank the team faster maybe. It’s very static in the competitiveness, like basically run around the map and shoot someone in the back pretty much; a different kind of skill I guess.
Destiny would be ok if the PvP mechanics were better (recoil/bullet bloom, aiming, and lack of controller options?)… I don’t know. It just basically gives you that false sense of achieving something with the PvE and goals.
I am pretty into Halo 5, but Rise of the Tomb Raider just arrived…Fallout 4 can wait. No disrespect to it, but after Witcher 3, I am not wanting to start another 300 hour game. Witcher 3 is my game of the year. And if anyone also has the PS4, I do recommend Bloodborne.
Halo 5 is probably my fav MP game right now. It does need more maps for Slayer pronto - I am patient, personally.

This is very true, I’ve had absolutely no frame rate problems in Halo 5 whatsoever but even in my beloved Witcher 3 I encountered some stutter before the patches!

I’m a big Souls fan, had a PS3 at launch but only played exclusives on it and I wanna do the same for PS4 but atm all I like is Bloodborne! Witcher 3 is still keeping me entertained, with Fallout 4 and Dark Souls 3 I’m buried in RPGs to play lol.

Witcher 3 is a fantastic game. have it on the PS4. Haven’t finished it yet, but plan on it. Its a huge file. Rise of the Tomb Raider is 20.3gb or whatnot. Witcher 3 over 50gb. LOL
I bought CoD and played a few matches before running back to Halo. I haven’t picked up FO4 yet, and I’m hesitant, because I don’t think I’d be able to pull myself away from Halo to play it.
Agreed and it isn’t like these are the maps/playlists we will be stuck with because we will continue to get more content so it will be even more fresh and enjoyable. I wish I could enjoy Warzone a bit more but Arena is really fun when you have a team.
