Halo 5, with just two maps, has easily become my favorite feeling multiplayer since 3. After having played the beta a good number of hours, I went back to some campaign in H2, and I have to say, the movement system felt incredibly dated and restrictive.
Halo 5 has perfect ttk, the weapons are balanced beautifully so that everyone feels like they at least have a chance, and the new movement systems have given our spartan avatars a new sense of weight and maneuverability that truly feels like a half-ton super-soldier that can throw themselves around like super-engineered badasses.
I can’t wait to see more of this game. Especially the campaign. 14 years of Halo and 343 finally gave us something evolutionary that feels like it will be a mainstay.
