This is an example of how pathetic this game really is, I finally enjoy it due to the new addition of infection, then outrageous things like this happen. Is anyone else getting banned for disconnecting?

He has like 4 or 5 dnfs on his record… doesn’t look like he quits a lot but just enough for a ban I suppose.

Return the game? Most places don’t accept returns on opened games. Also he might have bought it digitally.
I played 5 games of Infection last night with 2 other people, and all 3 of us (so probably everyone in the game?) were disconnected from 3 out of those games. Luckily in my case they didn’t count towards a ban, but I had been banned from a disconnect about 2 weeks ago.

Dependant on his country of residence, contract law may provide exceptions to the general rule.

if the message says “lost connection to dedicated server” that game does not count in your game history, wont show up, and will not register as a DNF. If this message appears after a game in completed and time runs out, then you receive a ban that is because of a previous DNF you had a game or two before and the system is kicking in the ban, but it sees no reason to prolong it longer and wait for the carnage report.
