Halo 5 is SLOWLY getting better and better?

The Franchise went DOWNHILL somewhere in between Reach and 4 BUT BUT BUT! It is now Steadily slowly going really upward

Halo 5 launched with some of the best gameplay mechanics in a shooter I’ve ever seen everything MAKES SENSE everything is balanced and it all combines
beautifully just like previous Halo games! nothing is a gimmick everything serves purpose and design.

SADLY Halo 5 released BARE-BONES no Game modes no Forge no BTB, -Yoink- UI, -Yoink- Control options.etc
Then the first monthly update happened and we got tons of new stuff Lots of bug fixes UI updates and BTB + new maps
THEN! we got another monthly update this time we got a Warzone map More BTB maps an arena map AND FORGE! THE BEST forge!
we also got a major overhaul fix on the UI Expanded Machinima controls, Aiming acceleration,Dead zones MORE OPTIONS!
Now we have Infinity’s armory Which isn’t really much from what has been shown BUT it will contain tons of Bug fixes that have been driving me nuts!
and will give us another Warzone assault map + Arena map + Community FORGE PLAYLIST! Tons of more skins and REQ’s to proceed towards…

IT’s really slow but by the pattern i’ve been noticing we are getting a mediocre update, BUT THEN right after that we get A HUGE UPDATE!
Battle of Shadow and Light -------> Cartographers Gift, These updates vary alot in terms of content!
And judging by how it is and what they’ve teased

By the end of the year this game will be a DREAM HALO TITLE!
We will have Infection,Oddball,Griffball,KOTH,Assault,Forge Canvases,Classic armors and weapons,Enhanced UI, Bug fixes,Expanded options,
Social playlists, Forge community playlists, The future is a LONG LONG Dark tunnel with a Light at the end of it!

Now I know 343i is slacking or whatever you want to call them but I’m sure that’s because more than half of them are BUSILY working on the next Halo title
Possibly 6 Possibly H3A possibly something else who knows but not ALL OF 343! develop Halo 5!

Now 343 if you want to keep the halo fans happy JUST BE MORE TRANSPARENT! Tell us the behind the scenes of CURRENT development wheter on twitter or on Community blogs Just keep us informed! This game has so much potential and I sure hope you meet it…

I agree with this rant.

On the PvP multiplayer side, this game has ridiculous potential- potential 343i may yet achieve with these updates, even if it takes a while.

Giving us Firefight, Daily/Weekly challenges, and some developer made BTB maps alongside the already promised gametypes could even elevate this to the best Halo multiplayer yet (slim customization options aside).

The campaign is what it is, though.

I doubt it sadly. This game dropped off the top ten list. A file browser won’t fix anything since 343i are probably gonna butcher that too.

If this game would have started with more content in the beginning, people would still be playing. Something about 2nd chance for a 1st impression is ringing in the back of my mind…

I’m not sure reviving the community is even possible at this point. 343i shipped Halo 5 without the Social element (one that was very unique in Halo). Most of the people this drove away are bound to be casual gamers who moved on to the next big thing because Halo 5 simply offered nothing for them at launch.

343i would need to apply serious marketing strategies to get the population back to Halo 5, and only after they’ve made significant changes (which clearly isn’t happening soon). Perhaps they can show off a new free PvE mode at E3 to regain sone people, perhaps with a video collecting all the update content.

I agree there will be a ton of content by the end of 2016; I just hope people that quit playing will come back; can’t wait for all of those gametypes though!

Lmao the mechanics of the game are terrible and this game is even less popular than Halo 4 was. The classic shooters as we know it are dying. FPS games now consist of strong auto aim for the noobs but then it is market as a game for MLG players. Developers/Publishers need to get there heads straight and realize NO ONE CARES ABOUT MLG PLAYERS AND NOOBS. MAKE A GAME FOR GAMERS!!!

Yes H5 is getting better and better. Every halo game that has launched has always improved after multiple updates.

YES at E3 they should make a montage showing off all the Free Updates that have been released over the years and maybe have a Super huge PVE announcement!

This would bring me back for sure! Need variety b/c the story was lackluster and I’m not always in the mood for competitive stuff. Warzone to me just simply isn’t fun (not saying it’s objectively bad, just not for me).

I would love a customizable FF mode. Or something completely new that is playable with friends or MM and is PVE only.

Correct you never get a second chance to make a first impression. I don’t think that even updates nd the release with more maps can keep the masses back to the level it had.

For your Arena stats, your accuracy with the BR and Magnum are 34 and 37%…Guess there’s not enough auto aim huh?
