Halo 5 is Revelations from the bible!!

Hello again my friends, as #HUNTtheTRUTH and its time clicks down, i thought’d be a great idea to throw this little interesting theory for you guys! Go ahead and get comfortable, cause its a quite big one!
KEEP IN MIND THIS IS ALL JUST SPECULATION AND THEORY TO GET HYPED FOR HALO 5: GUARDIANS
Some of you may know and some may not know that Halo follows in the path and footsteps of the Christianity religion and other Religions. First we’ll kick this theory off with John and the Ur-Didact.
John and the Didact
First of all we all know where this is pretty much goin by now. John, aka The Master Chief portrays to the man himself Jesus, as he is the Savior of humanity and shows that he can work miracles and prove that absolutely nothing is impossible. From this point on now lets get a clear understanding of the ancient promethean warrior himself, The Ur-Didact we all know from the Greg Bear Halo novels and of course the standout game for 2012, Halo 4!
To kick this off right away we all know that that the Didact portrays and represents the evil Devil. His bio as a character in a whole matches the exact definition for Satan we hear about in the holy christian bible. He is a lier, a thief and a seeker of destruction. Does this all sound a little familiar to you here? Of course it does Venial! The Didact believes of Humanity as a threat and hatred sin for his kind. He is persuaded by the fact that they are offensive to the Forerunners and all he seeks is their destruction, innocent or not! Now of course he may have an excuse of reasoning to back it up such that they led the flood to their shores and so what. He is a thief because he believes the Mantle of Responsibility belongs to the Forerunners alone and does all he can to steal that to his own kind which also explains a bit of selfishness indeed. The Forerunners were created by their gods the Precursors, and at a point in time they decide to rebel agaisnt their god Precursors as they are jealous of their power and want to steal the mantle for themselves, and this exactly represents what happened in the bible. As the Devil once had been a beautiful angel in the heavens until he got jealous of gods power and decided to rebel agaisnt god. (As you can see they’re tieing up well together so far) Now we switch back to Halo’s field of perspective: The Precursors as they knew their kind of extinction created a sort of last resort weapon for themselve’s, these parastic creatures were known as the Flood. They would attempt to use this to wipe out the wicked Forerunners from the face of the universe. And of course in doing so the Precursors plan had worked, as they ended up defeating the Forerunners.
Now switching to the bible again, god was to destroy the earth as he was angered by the wicked that had been ruling the world. He used the floods, to wipe the world gone away.
Well thats all pretty damn interesting Venial, now what else?
Now we switch to another form of evidence, which is small and may just be a super huge coincidence. Jesus’s first letter of his name starts with a “J”, as so the evil Devil of course a plain “D”. "J"ohn and "D"idact. Now think about it before u burst your bubbles here, these simple little things very well could back up my statement.
REVELATIONS
Now we know about all of that, now lets dig onto a bit of Revelations and past Halo entries.
After reading many other religious references to Halo, i can speak my theory more clearly with the help of other evidence you can find at the Halo wiki about religious references from old Halo games and books, but lets continue those with Halo 5 here, if you read the page over at the wiki you will discover how alot of Halo’s 1,2 and 3 display some events in and from related to the bible’s revelations. On how High Charity represented the Holy city and etc. And in the bible we learn on how Jesus was ressurected from the dead when everybody thought he had died forever. That represents pretty much the ending of Halo 3 - the beginning of H4. The UNSC thought they had lost the spartan after the war when really he was shown to still be alive once discovered on Reqiuem 4 years later still alive.
Thats another one, and lets start headin down the path to H5.
The evidence begins with the HaloFollower four horseman theory about the apocalypse. And also we learn in Revelations of the beast from the spurring-spinning wind whirl in the sea, where this beast with 10 horns, a lions body and wolf like head would arise from the ground and punish the evil as god brings the good up with him into the heavens. Now think about the structure in the E3 2013 H5 trailer of the ground arising promethean structure, its a clear match to what is described. How does the structure relate to the punishment we dont know yet and dont even know if it’ll happen at all.
Next we move onto the men that were attempting to hunt down and torture Jesus in the bible. These men wanted to hunt down the lord and severily cruliate him. And that may resemble where Agent Locke comes into play, hunting down John 117 to possibly torture him. Jesus let this happen to die for our sins and save us. We dont know how that will work in H5 but it does suggest that John may have a death in the campaign, as all of this is leading up to it so far.
And this can also help explain how humanity will obtain the mantle in H5, just as how in the bible when Jesus died we were saved.
What we know for certain is that with all of this surronding evidence Halo 5 will be unlike any other Halo before it, the game of the apocalypse. Which with this as well helps explain how 343 industries stated that Halo 5 will be a very very dark game. And as i close this thread we can kind of expect the future plot of Halo. And keep in mind this is all clearly just speculation, facts and theory, and to help get you hyped and prepared for the future of the Halo franchise as we know it. And hell people, even the name “Halo” has to tie in with religion, lol xD
Halo 5 is slated to release Fall 2015 for the Xbox One exclusively, and its first viral marketing campaign known as #HUNTtheTRUTH counts down for a Sunday 6:00pm Pacific time reveal.

I’m pretty atheist, but this is actually so cool! It’s definitely one of the more interesting posts I’ve seen in recent memory.

Lol, so does that mean if you saw an old man float out of the clouds with a big white beard you’d rub your eyes a few times just to make sure before believing it? I didn’t know you could be any less than 100% atheist.

Atheism is a type of agnosticism, agnostic is up for anything but not choosing one specific religion, while atheism is being mostly certain the content in religious text is false, but I don’t think we should have this debate here ‘3’

Why should something this minor be a problem to you? Just forget it and move on because I’m certainly not getting into a religious argument on the internet, much less real life. Let’s talk aboot Halo, yeah?

Why does everyone interpret everything as a problem? I put lol at the start to show that it made me laugh, apparently it made you scowl, don’t call me the negative one, and also in another post I said that we shouldn’t talk about that here. All of our horses are the same height sir knight, none higher than the other, don’t act like it.

I think the OP has an interesting idea, but a lot of his speculation is rather arbitrary at times. Let’s consider the historical nature of Revelation. It was a 1st century manuscript written by an imprisoned Christian writer named John of Patmos. Rather than the literal “Left Behind” apocalypse most people are familiar with, Revelation is rather a critique on the Roman Empire at the time. The beast of the sea is the Roman Empire itself while the beast from the earth is the Imperial cult that facilitated worship of the emperor and the pantheon of Roman deities for example.

Now Halo 5 may very well be a critique of the powers that be in the Halo universe. Rome had its Pax Romana and spread as far as it could across the globe, though that growth came at the expense of those they ended up controlling and arguably spread the empire too thin to properly function. John of Patmos makes it very clear that empires like Rome’s were never to last with their cruelty and that in the end the kingdom of God would reign supreme in the end. Humanity finds itself in the same place as the Romans. The UNSC spreads itself to reclaim lost territory, but it cannot possibly control it all effectively. Worse still, ONI is doing all it can against the former Covenant to break their power, but at the same time inflames hostilities. Internal rebellion within humanity continues to plague the UNSC as well. All of these seem to indicate that humanity is not meant to inherit the Mantle of the Precursors. Revelation promises a change and Halo 5 seems to promise a change in the galaxy as well.

Trying to link the Ur-Didact to Satan, the Forerunner machine to the beast of the sea and Locke to the people who hunted Jesus of Nazareth all seem fairly far-fetched. The Ur-Didact only had his fall after being mentally scarred by the Gravemind, the Forerunner machines exact function is unknown so any real comparison to the beasts can’t be determined thus far and Locke isn’t going out to explicitly murder the Chief, as he said himself he understands the Chief has reasons for going AWOL and seeks to find out what they are.
