I can’t find a game. How can you play a game if you can’t find one? I can play on expanded sure but its beyond too laggy and just way too frustrating to play. No one on my friends lost can find games. It sad to say that I can play my favorite game.
EDIT 1: Sorry I forgot about countries like Sweden and Canada that would be able to find games. This is aimed more at countries like German, some parts of the UK, Australia (where i live) etc. I would also like to add that I’m not including playlists like action sack and infection because k can find games in those but I just don’t like action sack and infection is a bit of a struggle to find games. The thread is dramatic I know but the whole point is to get across that playing this game can become extremely annoying and 343 needs to take better care of the fans outside of larger countries. If I can’t find a game in the third most popular playlist the game is virtually dead in my opinion. Not finding a game means that there are literally no one bar a few people searching in it. Its saddening.
Do you and your friends live in the same area? Maybe it’s ISP issues. I played with some dude earlier today who was speaking some other language, so I assume he wasn’t from Freedom Land.
I had trouble finding games in the morning, and matched up against groups of twelves 3 times in a row in Warzone. But the rest of the day was fine for me.
Does Hawaii count as part of the US region servers (stupid question I know but most companies leave Hawaii and Alaska out of the US regions)? If it isn’t, then I can still find plenty o’ matches. If it is, well, I can’t really help you.
It really comes down to where your located and what servers are available near you and if there is any H5 population on them. I suppose as the game gets older and new releases come out the population will drop making it hard for some and not so much for others… Its really just hit and miss… I think H5 ranks 15th right now on the most played game on xbox. Which isn’t that great to be honest…

It’s below Battlefield 4 so we have a good idea of how many people are playing it at any moment. BF4 has 23k players on right now and peaked at 33k today. Halo 5 being lower than that is bad for a Halo game.

Go saying that on Reddit and instantly you will be attacked by a bunch of fanboys saying that H5 counts hundreds of thousands players a day (I specified “at the same time” when I wrote there)
Anyway OP can’t be more right: find a game is becoming more difficult every day.
FFA is a desert wasteland, even in Team Slayer (the most played) finding a game is a mess…
If you are EU and high diamond like me (if not even onyx) finding a game becomes suddenly impossible; maybe you manage to find one on balanced 1 time every 20/30 min (when the first game starts your will to play has already gone for good).
The point is: we haven’t the tool to choose the right server (to play fairly) and if you are too good you won’t find a game, forced to play on expanded where advantaged people can see you half a second in advance, hit registration is the worst and latency/delay is unbearable…
I really hope 343 will do a copy/paste of TF2 infrastructure some day because during the beta playing at 30ms ping, being able to see numbers in playlists and choose the preferred server was really awesome…

I live around Melbourne. About 30 minutes out and you’ll reach Werribee which is where I live. It’s pretty quiet and has practically everything you need

Sounds nice dude, i live in Liverpool. It’s okay, nice area and all but Melbourne seems a lot cheaper to live in. Anyways, happy hunting Spartan! Perhaps we will meet on the battlefield one day 
I agree, it is getting harder than before to find matches but I still see low level players in games. At least this means people are still buying this game.

Same, I get a bit of lag in BTB but not really in anything else too much.
I can find games fine with balanced (EU). Where do you live? Under a rock? Don’t generalize things like “Halo 5 is dead outside US”, which it obviously isn’t.
