Halo: 5 is not starting past the title screen

I’m so confused

I try to start halo 5, won’t load up and says I need to buy it, no big deal, I enter my ultimate code and try again, this time it says I don’t have multiplayer privileges. I think “huh, thats weird” and try to restart my h5. It does it again so I restart again. Then I get stuck on the title screen and I spam A and Start but nothing is happening (I can hear the sound on h5 confirming I pressed something). I try to restart my Xbox. I can’t log in at all, I restart again and the same thing happened. Im genuinely confused, could anybody lend some advice? I’m gonna keep trying until something happens, but there’s not much else I can do as I can’t even log in right now.

Update as I’m writing: I’m logged in but my home screen tells me to connect to the internet but I have menu access to online stuff (like friends etc), I’m gonna give opening it a go

Update 2: ummm yeah it told me to sign in. I just hit cancel and hit connect and had a look. I’m gonna type out what it says (as I’m typing this it just logged me out):

Current network status:
network name
a code thingy im not sure it’s safe to share
NAT type status
Xbox live is currently unavailable
Xbox Live core services
Social and gaming or something

Accidentally clicked off it and signed in again, saying it can’t sign me in

I’m literally annoyed rn because I just wanna make some forge adjustments while listening to Spotify. Does anybody know what’s going on here?

There is currently an Xbox Live service outage that is affecting multiple services

I think I may have a theory in what’s happened. They could’ve had their servers DDoS’d, it’s possible and it doesn’t always fully shut everything down. Wouldn’t rlly say that’s a theory though lol.
