Halo 5 is like halo 2

Well i think halo 5 is halo 2 but with sprint and ground pound and clamber, spartan charge, slide and stabilizer, Well guys at least there is no ordnance like halo 4 or loadouts It dose feel like halo 2 to me but more fast paced if you know what i mean ? Do you agree with me. Let me see your thoughts  But 343i are amazing at doing story for halo
Sorry if it doesn’t make sense

I think Halo 5 is Halo 5. While it does share attributes with Halo 2 (equal starts, weapons on map, ranking), the spartan abilities make it play very different. I’m also glad that ordinance and loadouts are gone, OP. Those were really bad for Halo gameplay.

I kind of agree. Halo 5 feels more like Halo CE and Halo 2, just far more agile.

It does not have the random chaos of Reach or Halo 4, nor does it have the equipment nonsense and weak BR from Halo 3.

It does, but it doesn’t. I know some people may call this a “buzzword”, but it feels like an evolved halo 2.

Nope, Halo 2 actually played like Halo. Halo 5 Guardians plays more like Call of Duty. Halo 2 Anniversary on the other hand plays like Halo 2 and is the direction 343i should be taking Halo 5 Guardians.

I think Halo 5 is it’s own game, and will be much more successful and enjoyable to the masses if we stopped comparing it to past Halo games. Of course it will have some parts that feel like older Halo games, and some that feel new and refreshing.

Honestly, I wish it was just called Guardians.

But we’ve already played Halo 2. I want to play something new and different.

So go play call of duty. Not Halo. Halo 5 isn’t halo.

Its more halo than halo 4 and reach combined. In fact, halo 5 does the one thing I wanted from armor abilities by making everyone have the same abilities, and letting us have more than one. Perfect evolution.

So you want the same gameplay for every Halo game? No change? and how does Halo 5 play like CoD? It didn’t seem like it to me.

And having the same gameplay every single game release is what would turn Halo into CoD in my opinion at least, I like my games and their multiplayer to have a little diversity in them thank you very much.

Halo 5 is like Halo 5… How you came to the conclusion that it’s similar to Halo 2 is beyond me.

Not even Halo 3 plays like Halo 2, and that has dual-wielding and equal starts in addition to not having Sprint. How the HECK is Halo 5 any closer?

So you could say halo’s combat has…evolved?

I’ll let myself out.

I’m pretty sure that would get the Destiny crowd on our backs, remember when the game was first announced?

Your name is The BS Police, but your statement is total BS, which is woefully ironic. Or perhaps sadly iconic of Police not doing their job…

Halo 5 played nothing like COD. COD is a reaction time twitch shooter. None of the new H5 movements mechanics turned Halo into a twitch shooter. You are entitled to not like the new movement mechanics, but don’t get caught up in the mind trap of making these types of painfully ignorant claims.

hahahaha

Good one

It did play a lot like COD though.

I was playing COD AW when the H5 BETA was out and the games played very similarly. Especially H5’s “breakout” playlist.

At the very least H5 plays closer to COD than it does to H2.

Inb4 blind fanboy reply saying similar =/= the same.

Mind giving some examples on how Halo 5 played like CoD? to me it sure as heck didn’t play like it.

I sprinted around, ADS to kill people. Thrustered and mantled around and away from players.

That sentence describes H5 gameplay and COD AW gameplay.
