For the same reason I assume people say AW is just like Titanfall, or SoM is just like AC.
They don’t know what they’re talking about and get most of their information from cinematic trailers. They consider what the games look like, not what they play like.

Destiny is better than any Halo that has been released thus far (considering MP death match style gameplay not vehicle or objective based).

It doesn’t like Halo? I can clearly see Spartans, the good ole assualt rifle, and Halo-esque maps. It looks just like Halo to me.

Have you by chance actually played either of those games?
Becuase I’ve played Titanfall, and literally the only similarity is that both are FPS’s with a doublejump.

Similarities yes but destiny pvp is insanely un-balanced… i like pvp is fine and im decent with a positive K/D, but it really lacks balance, in halo 5 everyone has every ability, its more of a kit, and that could work wonders
