It’s also a beta and not representative of the full product. This game was built ground up with sprint in mind. It’s never leaving halo deal with it. Sprint is halo and halo is sprint.

Looks like I likely wont be buying it in that case. It just makes it a run of the mill generic shooter with a few minor changes.

As I have said more times than I can count now…
If they removed sprint they would also have to remove almost all the abilities as they rely on it to function. If they removed all the abilities they would have to scrap or redesign several of the maps and entirely rethink their unique selling point and their marketing.
They would essentially just be re-releasing Halo 2.
Why would a company possibly spend more money to make a less superior and appealing product?

Why would the have to scrap all the abilities? The charging bash could be coupled with the thruster instead of sprint. I’m not even sure what other abilities are tied to sprint, but I guarantee that there is a solution to make those abilities work perfectly without sprint. No map would have to be redesigned. Thats the idea of adjusting the general movement speed to compensate for the lack for sprint. If circumstances were different, I’d say its impossible, but they aren’t and its not.
