I just got banned for no reason. I was playing in team SWAT, he game ended and then a error message pops saying “Error” and I got banned because I “quit” the game. Seriously this is ridiculous.
Did you quit the game before? Maybe it was a delay
No I didn’t quit before, the game ended it says “Victory” and then back to the lobby with the error message and then boom banned.
It happened several times, I’m not playing anymore. Its a shame because I enjoy playing Halo 5 but not anymore
Unfortunately the sad reality is that as the game stands today most players will eventually receive an unfair ban resulting from being dropped randomly by Microsoft’s servers. The only way to get around this if you want to play the game uninterrupted is to have a couple other accounts on the console to use until your ban expires and you can get back to your main. The more active accounts the better for 343’s data anyway right? As long as you’re not purposely de-ranking it’s a non issue.
