Every game im playing on halo 5 takes forever to find games due to the mmr. Also people are always quitting and today my game froze ingame and i got a loss for it. I dont mind people leaving and you can not stop people from leaving but what i dont get is how can my game freezing because people leaves non stop give me a loss? Im pretty sure this happens to others and not just me. Im sorry but that is just not good enough after two years of halo 5 being released. Besides I have had enough of working on my stats just to get losses that are not real. I have made many posts about Halo 5 issues but nothing ever gets fixed. At least nothing of the issues i have to go through. I wish that something could have been done to fix the issues but thats not the case.
They are working on this freeze problem I believe. They said they are working on some bug fixes that hope to be out before Christmas. I for one am glad the search times are taking a bit longer since I seem to be getting way better quality games lately. I use the balanced search preferance.

Even if they are working on the freeze problem, the harm is already done to my stats, among many others people stats. I wont accept that.
When you are almost having a 98 % the search time does not just take a little bit longer. It takes ages to find a game.

the game is officially dead…they have ruined the game…what would make Halo 5 an awesome game would be just to fix the game…they dont care though

How is it dead? I have been practically binge playing like a week now with no issues finding games.
dead as in …its no longer what it was…the LAG is horrible…i have Xbox one X i have a 1gig download 100 mbps upload…im shooting at players who are not in front of me…players are quiting like crazy during warzone…the game isnt what it was…if 343 was really serious they would fix there issues…it always falls on dead ears when we ask them to fix these problems
I’ve had these problems ever since the x came out it’s pretty annoying. It’s not as bad as it was but it’s still like come one really 343? Hopefully this gets fixed soon I love halo 5 and it sucks when I can’t play it

Some people seem to be deluded as to the extent of the problem. They think search times just take an extra minute or two and that the freezing happens “occasionally”. They’re just trying to deny the problem for whatever reason because they don’t like seeing complaints, even if they’re warranted. My theory is that they are trying to suck up in order to gain some browny points with whatever powers that be. Anywho…
Most people I have talked to can’t find games for up to 30 minutes due to the search continuously timing out. I don’t know about you but if I have to wait more than even 5 minutes to find a game, it’s unacceptable.
You are correct, the freezing in this game is horrendous. Whenever anybody leaves, the game freezes. Sometimes for 5 seconds, sometimes for a whole minute, frequently it kicks you back to the lobby. After match stats freeze, custom games freeze, arena freezes, warzone freezes, everything freezes every single game lol. Hopefully they do something about it soon but what’s the bet their “fix” will cause a host of other problems as it always does.

Was playing a game of firefight yesterday and 5 people left in one game. 5 people ! That is joke. This made my game completly freeze and my mate told me i left the game when i could not do anything. After a short time you get wake up john and it gave me a loss.

Glad my experience isn’t anything like that… And they have already said they are working on bug fixes and hope to have them out before Christmas.
Halo 5 took a major drop in quality after the OT update. Some of the weapons are terrible. Mm times in btb need to be addressed big time for teams. (No split your party in half and search in 2 lobbies is not an acceptable solution guys).
Actually mm times in general. I played some halo 4 with my son today as that’s his favorite halo. And we can match in any playlist we try at a fraction the time it takes in h5. That game only had 300 people in btb when we were searching. And it was 10 times faster than I can find a game in h5.
The game has always lag spiked when players quit. But now those spikes can last almost 8 seconds at times.
Hopefully we get some fixes before the holidays. Halo traffic always picks up over the holidays a bit so here’s hoping anyone who hasn’t played the game in a while wanting to get back into it doesn’t have to experience this current state of halo 5.

Ok. Game’s not dead. Although, I’d say 343 could be doing a way better job. They don’t listen to the community very well. None of us wanted overtime. No one wanted the nerfs. We wanted a nerf on spartan charge. Did we get it? Nah. Black friday, an infection map, is broken to hell and it has been for like 8 months. People talk about it all the time? Doesn’t get any attention. At least we’re gonna get some fixes on these freezes, but 343 ain’t doing great. They haven’t “ruined it”. But they’re on the right track to.

343 is always saying that they are gonna add some bug " Fixes" to the game. I am still experiencing bugs that i made a forum post about 8 months ago.

You realize that it takes time to get player feedback on issues, pinpoint the issues, fix the issues, test the fixes to make sure that it didnt break something else, submit the patch to Microsoft for review, Microsoft to review it, Microsoft to approve/deny it and then 343 to put it in place, right? Youre acting like as soon as a problem is found for it to instantly be fixed and if not they just dont care. Keep in mind that even though 343 is owned by Microsoft they have to go through the same update submission steps as every other dev that has a game on xbl.
