When i first started playing halo 5 i did not really like the game. I felt the dashing and other abilities were stupid (i did like sprint) and they didn’t belong in a halo game. I still dont like spartan charge and ground n pound but overall the game is much better than halo’s 1-4. The game didn’t seem good at first because i was so used to the older halos that i thought the fast paced style of halo 5 had too much stuff in it that did not make sense. After a while of playing and you get used to it everything makes sense, you may not like it but it makes sense.
I tried playing halo MCC after and the game seemed really slow. The AR assault rifle had no chance against the BR, i just wanted to sprint around the map and flank the enemy BR but couldn’t. Halo 5 makes sense i think it just takes a while to get used to and once you do … the other halos feel like they are missing something.

Hands down the best Halo (All around exerience). Halo 2/3 had better campaigns and Halo 3 had a great community for quite a while. Halo 5 community is a little cold atm but hopefully, after people warm up, our beautiful community will get along again.
oh yea and the Invisibility is too good
What you speak is heresy. Halo 5 is not better than the classics. It’s definitely better than 4, but nothing can top Halos 1-3.
Im just talking about Multiplayer cus the campaign is not better than the older ones.

Lol it feels slow because you’re now used to Halo 5. Did they feel like they were missing something back when you used to play them? No.
Halo 5 is awesome, def not better than Halo 1-3 though.

Halo reach and Halo 4 were the worse halos of them all

Just because they didn’t feel like they were missing something doesn’t mean they were perfect. For example, I never realized I wanted the ability to change seats in a warthog until Halo 5 had it. A game can improve on already good games by adding too it. I agree with OP that the campaign isn’t as good, but this is the most balanced multiplayer in Halo’s history. Halo 2 was a good game, but it was a Br campfest. Halo 3 had a super strong community, but balancing was still not great, but it was a good game. Halo 5 being better doesn’t make the old games bad. Just because a game was good at the time, doesn’t mean it can’t be compared to later games.
New system is great, MP is better than ever, Kinda wish the story went different though.

everything about this post is what i love and have preached. I think the campaign for halo 5 had good gameplay design and layout but ya, 2 and 3 “story” was better. I always loved halo 3 the most because of the community and the stuff we all did but honestly. I think halo 5 can become that game. Thats why i defend it and want to work with 343 on it. This game has so much potential. I hope to see it blosom before i ship off to the navy.

I agree aside from halo 4, halo 4 was garbage.
That’s an opinion…
Personally, the best moments I’ve ever had in Halo were in Halo 3 and Halo Reach. Halo 5 has yet to give me the experience I loved.
But, as I said before – Opinion.
