343 is good at making games… just not Halo games lol.
At first glance of Halo 5 I disliked it strongly, but after playing the beta for a few more hours Im absolutley loving it and can’t wait till the final game comes out.
theirs are some things i strongly dislike about this game… but gameplay wise it’s FANTASTIC!
343 combined great offensive and defensive combat tactics to make a great, not so frustrating, fps experience that no previous Halo game had. The default spartan abilities are great imo. At first I didn’t think it would work, but it does.
i don’t miss crouch jump anymore, ground pound is fun and so satisfying… could be used defensivley as well… jetpacking while scoped in got to me in a good way.
all in all, this game doesn’t feel like Halo AT ALL. the only Halo thing about this game is the weapons.

It’s a good game, just not a good Halo game. If this wasn’t Halo I would probably be super excited for it.
They should just change the title and ppl won’t even know it’s halo lol 343’s only way out i think 
Well, you still have grenades, melee, longer kill times, crouching, equal starts, and a radar. It still, has the core features of Halo.
I love the halo 5 beta i think it definitely still feels like halo. and cant wait for the release of the full game. its going to be awesome
It’s a good HALO game. Hopefully the start to new halo games. I love the original 3 and I love being able to get my fix when ever my heart desires but I’m happy with this “overhaul” which I find is barely one tbh. It’s different but good and kinda refreshing. Playing custom games in halo 3 is amazing or getting a tournament going with friends but the online isn’t as fun anymore. Almost to plain I get it less is more. But going back now unless your up again a good team. It’s the same one gun gameplay we’ve honestly mastered the holy trinity. Need more layers bungie knew that and added equipment. Halo 4 tried with ordinance and continuing the whole load outs thing and it just wasn’t right. This actualy feels like it should have came after 3
I agree, fun game, just doesn’t feel like Halo, no crouch jumps, Spartan chatter, fast kill times, automatic weapons being just as important as precision weapons, huge maps, game tells you where everyone and everything is and when weapons are coming back (Spartan chatter again), huge hit boxes, strafing and jumping while shooting isn’t important anymore cause you die so quick and you don’t move enough while doing either of them, sprint still allows everyone to escape dumb situations. It is a fun game but rewards new players and takes away all the skills the old players have learned throughout the past games.

Agree I mean i like very halo for what it is That’s just how i am. But this really does feel like an over all evolution to halo ce, 2, and 3 especially compared to halo reach and halo 4. Halo 5 plays beautifully

that would be pretty sick lol . Heck have the Spnkr as a legendary weapon as well that be pretty cool and make people happy that say they need spnkr rockets back.

It needs some tweaks, but yes to me it feels like Halo.

Agree; the gameplay is awesome. Let’s just hope they figure out the ranking system so we don’t continue to have lopsided games.
