I’m seeing invasion mode, alien drop ship full of players as elites, combined with grunt AI filling in the horde.
master chief players waiting in the fort they have to hold for a whopping 3 mins that round. Sorry mind wonders.
Achievable? Gain interest, what you think ?
I think that an invasion gametype with added grunt AI will actually be pretty fun…until all the grunts keep sticking me over and over.

I mentioned this to friends the other day. I loved invasion, I want it back.
They tried this with “Firefight vs” in Reach and the elite players were too powerful and all spartans would die in the first 2 minutes.
Would be great starting in the elites drop ship I think lol. I’m sure with enough testing you could balance it out to make it fair.

I want Invasion back too! Even if it were Spartan vs Spartan invasion but make one team like the forerunners. They would spawn with forerunner weapons and hopefully have forerunner vehicles.And if not have one team use covenant weapons and vehicles.
Along with playing as elites you should be able to play as forerunners.

I’d love for halo to take a leaf out of titanfalls book and introduce AI bots (friendly and hostile). At least in firefight but invasion could be cool like that to.
That would be awesome, but only if there was some way of balancing out the advantage of having ai units on one side. Maybe there could be UNSC soldiers with the spartans, or give the spartans a dominant position that the elites would find tough to take.
