I bought halo 5 a week ago, second hand as money is tight. I get an hour to play it here and there between other things. I put the disc in and it started to install the game. Fair enough.
An hour anda half later I’m going to bed, it’s on 4% of the 92 GB install. I leave my xbox one on for the hour before the automatic shutdown. The next day I come back to it, 24%. I leave it on for 6 hours before the automatic shut down. 44%.
I then leave it on over night. I turned the screen brightness down so I know the TV has nothing to do with it. It’s just like the console is on. 10 hours later I’m on 100%. Yay!!!
Time to do updates.
These took 2-3 minutes. Excellent!!
I finally get time to play the game, disc in the console, go to play it. “Starting install”. I could cry.
It’s been running for about half an hour, apparently at 32-35 mb/s. 32%. It seems to have now stopped.
I get that modern games are bigger than their predecessors, but mass effect 2&3 are huge and are on disc, and can be played after a short while.
I’m wondering whether I should give up on the game, or the console, or what. I’m not a technical person with computers or Internet etc, I know the basics. Really disappointed with this game so far. I’ve played far cry 4 on it after an install of a couple hours (at my girlfriends house ) so theasy console works… HELP MEEEEEEE!!!
