Improved tools that are more accessible to the general forge user. While halo 5 forge was good, it was also a huge time sink and wasn’t very friendly to the more casual users. I myself found it difficult to get used to the first time around. I had to ask someone to show me some of the tricks to make certain things work properly. I didn’t have this issue in the previous forges just for comparison.
In general just make it more user friendly. Also wouldn’t mind a object panel like space engineers(and other similar games) where I can bind something on the 1-0 keys when using m+kb. Probably speed up pc building significantly. Maybe have a the same system bound to the left and right on dpad for controllers as well.
The most important thing isn’t even the tools they give, but the canvas itself. It has been stated many times but arguably Forge World (Halo Reach) was the best Forge canvas ever released. They need to create a Forge canvas that is interesting yet not too limiting basically. I expect to see a lot of UNSC/Banished stuff, and maybe some neat Forerunner set pieces.
Regardless though limitations with engine (how many players can be in the lobby at once, for example) and with the sandbox (we need tons more vehicles/weapons) is what will hinder Forgers moreso than most things.

If people want to write a rude word, they will regardless if there’s a C, a N, a U and a T in decals or not, they’ll still write it with blocks or chromas.
I feel sorry for the forge users, when its going to be massively improved but be missing something great like the player made prefabs, and the tab to download them in halo 5.
I’m actually really concerned about how Infinite forge is going to be knowing all the issues 5 had that were never fixed, and won’t be fixed. One of the major issues was lighting.
I just want to be able to have an insane budget. Lighting better not break in any way. Framerate cannot be an issue at all especially with lots of objects in one area.
Hope there’s an insane amount of textures for objects. I would love be able to create your own objects by dragging dimensions to what we see fit.
Maps should allow so much detail that you can’t tell the difference between a dev and forge map. Please no blocky, two toned maps.
I’m very optimistic because every forge has been improved drastically but with it being infinite and everything being rushed I’ll just keep my hopes to a minimum.
All I want is a proper terrain editor so we can make real maps, not just plunk legos down and attempt to make something that looks proper. Big chonks of terrain full of seams doesn’t cut it, I still remember playing the first Farcry games back in the day and the map editor had basic terrain tools but Halo has yet to master this technology. lol
the suggestions evoke LittleBigPlanet’s level maker system to me, which was a FANTASTIC system might I add, so something like this for Halo Infinite which in turn allows for greater self sustainability for the game itself would be akin to finding Atlantis, awesomely miraculous.
