I’ve been playing halo 5 for a while and my favorite game mode is infection. But ever since they added contingency I can’t stand playing it anymore since all you ever match is contingency, contingency sucks because of how easy it is to farm. For this reason and many others I think contingency should be taken out of the infection playlist along with regular infection but at a minimum contingency. I know this will probably never happen because even though I like 343 I know they don’t care about halo 5 at all and hate updating it.
Also I think it would be nice to bring in some new maps, not infection game types but actual maps it’s been a while since we’ve gotten some and would nice to get some fresh ones in there.
No. People have reasons for disliking Contingency, none of which are good enough reasons from removing it entirely. Just learn to abuse crouch and other techniques to avoid bullets. And don’t say that about 343, they do care about the game and series and they don’t have any real updates anymore and haven’t had any for three years because they’ve been busy trying to earn the community’s forgiveness with Halo Infinite. Quit complaining and appreciate what they’ve put into this game.

Are you kidding me? Contingency is broken in so many ways. Especially when you have a high social mmr the infected can’t get a single kill. Contingency is broken in many ways from the map structure, exploits to weapon placements.

I agree but at this point 343i will not work on infection or refresh it. Contingency is such a a terrible mode. Also 343i did update halo 5 however halo 5 is no longer their priority since they are working on halo infinite. Normal infection is balanced, Alpha mode is 50/50 and contingency is terrible.

Uhh you can get in a tank on coastal highway, and you can get into the zombies spawn on green zone and bleak rock if that’s not completely broken idk what is
