Credit where credit is due, this is by far the best in the series. Here is why:
- Community made maps are spot on. They give infected and surviving Spartans the ability to protect to fight. I do think that some glitches and camping spots need to be fixed however most spots can be rushed in the later stages by infected. - Weapons. Did you know that assassinating the infected will result in a grenade and infected sword being dropped? No. Try it. Also, the weapons given do not help as they are limited in ammo capacity. Therefore, you’re forced to run to dead Spartans and loot their ammo and run back to your defensive point. How I do think it could be improved is by having tactical weapon drops so that infected can launch surprise attacks on Spartans that require ammo. Another nice idea would be the addition of special shotguns from the REQ packs that can be used in a special playlist, however this is just an idea and not a recommendation - The infected. Just well done, you got it spot on with the HUD, look of the infected and the animations. Infected Alphas have a invisibility and are hidden in the map. This is helpful in both early and late game, but hinderence in the mid game. However, the infected are perfectly suited for the gameplay of Halo 5.What do you think of infected? The fact that it was implemented 6 months late killed any amount of hype that I had for the game mode. To me it’s just same old infection. Nothing new or blatantly special…

I dislike the AR in it. Smart scoped it is far too easy to kill zombies with no sprint and then it is still good at mid range. I would like to see faster zombies and pistols instead of ARs. You gotta shoot em in the head or you waste precious pistol ammo. Also, I dislike having next to no spare ammo. Like give me 3-4 extra shots on the shotgun at least.
But yea, this infection isn’t anything special for me. Certainly not the best either.
I think it’s a blast. I like the AR starts. Pistols would be too easy. Pistols would only make sense if the rounds were longer. I think the ammo that you get is perfect. You have to risk it sometimes to go pick up ammo from your dead comrades, which give the zombies a better chance because you can’t simply stack up in the corner forever. But honestly, I have only actually ran out of ammo a couple times with both of my weapons AND, I was always able to find more ammo before dying. The lack of ammo adds to the excitement. The only time it is lame is when the first couple zombies take up 2 minutes before they kill anyone. Makes for a boring round as the humans have certainly established some sort of setup that will be hard for 3 or 4 zombies to overcome in 1 minute. Nothing can really be done about bad zombies though!
I couldn’t have been less excited about this game mode and now I can’t play anything but infection.
i think it is great at time but also not great at times. I think the infected people should be a little bit faster since the people who are not infected can the kill the infected people very easily when the infected people try to run at them. i
PS i would have written more…but GTG
The infected needs more mobility. Too easy for the survivors imo.
They balanced the mobility and ammo perfectly, I think. I love H5 infection. Just wish they would fill in that cheap hiding spot under the satellite dish in the mall.
Just rename it hive mind, since that’s what it really is.

Have to disagree. The pistol is way too powerful to spawn with. If you complain about the AR’s power then say you want the pistol back you are just being hypocritical.

That is easy though, you simply rush from both front and back during the later stages.

Wut? There is no front and back. Just front.

Are you talking about the SAW spawn? there is an open space on the side where a bunch of crates are. I tried holding out there but they were coming from two sides.
I agree! Some minor issues with the maps, but nothing that can’t be fixed!
this is by far the most frustrating in the series, too much bull -Yoink-.

you have more mobility than ever before and with smart link, also infection is all about overwhelming the enemy anyways.

How does smart link provide mobility? Zooming just encourages people to stay in one spot.
This is fricking awesome, well balanced. I just wish they did a parkour like map that you hade to jump around just to get somewhere
I’d hardly say they’re invisible with that green smoke coming off them all the time, the invisibility is almost pointless when you can see them anyway
