In Ted 2 when they are in comic con after Ted escaped from Donny and before John gets hit, in the Xbox section you can see the chief standing at the front on guard and on a tv at the far right of the screen the Halo 5 MP beta. You can see them playing something on Empire I think playing either Strongholds or Slayer.
In fact in the entire scene it’s surrounded by Halo 5
In Mission Impossible, Halo 5 also makes an appearence but is being played with split-screen.

The box also had the cover art from the Limited Edition, but the box itself was the standard neon green disc case, if I remember correctly.
I remember that, It thought that was cool.
There was also a scene in American Ultra where they were playing splitscreen on Truth.

It wasn’t split-screen, it was triple monitor gaming.
Hehehe, I remember that part.
Halo CE or halo 2 shows up in Boyhood
In Agents of Sheild they played Halo5 at one point. In game, they were in a garage, lighting made me think it might’ve been Noctus
Which means they had to actually be online to play, so when they shot the scene for the TV show, they were actually playing online. So that’s kind of neat.
if any of us were playing in that game, our gamer tags could’ve been on TV. Might’ve had our 5 seconds of fame there, boys.

They also played MCC on Agents of Sheild but I forget if they were online or not.

Wat. Where I must see this
Similar thing happend in “The Longest Yard” (2005)
In a scene, you can see the guards playing the campaign demo of Halo 2, and even one of them says something like “Is that Halo 2? I didn’t think it was out yet”
lol Halo easter eggs in so many movies and shows
