I think every person wants halo 5 to be the best halo, and i have ideas and u may have some so in a list write them down so 343 can read and hopefully implement these features into the full game. A lot of the things i mention are properly place holders but i don’t know what is or isn’t a place holder
Presentation
-In the menus u can customize your spartan, the only problem i have with that is when i’m trying to change his or her colour. its hard to tell what the colour looks like on your spartan, they should make the area as if it was day time to make it easier to see.
-This is kinda under Presentation but is to do with respawns, so when u die it cuts to black if you skip the kill-cam, then to a view of a teammate in third person. i don’t have an idea instead but something needs to replace that its not the best way to respawn
Gameplay
- Melee doesn’t feel right, hitting someone from behind doesn’t always do an assassination which is dissapointing, i love assassinating someone its the best way to know if you have killed someone, sometimes now, i go for the melee from behind and i get that sound effect but i don’t know if i have killed them or not witch is very annoying.
Maps
-on Empire the power weapon is the sniper it should instead be a shotgun because of the tight quarters .
-This is a need for me not all maps have been confirmed yet ok but 343 have said it going to its roots (meaning 4v4) but does this mean maps like Blood gulch arnt going to be in halo 5. halo 5 needs a big maps with vehicles its in its nature
- I do have a way to fix this why not bring bloodline and sandstone i think its called to halo 5 both are loved maps built on an Xbox one engine
Also on Gameplay with the sniper
-make it so when u r down sights its faster so it is easier to use or make it more powerful it feels so weak

Its a 2 shot kill/ 1 shot unshielded. It’s always been like that.
yeah but with the fast paced game that two shots are a lot harder to connect than previous.
I like how as the Beta plays RIGHT NOW, there isn’t a vote option for maps. That’s the MAIN thing I don’t want in H5 is map voting. Vetoing VIA H3 would be fine, but if HR or H4 taught us anything its if they keep voting we are going to be forced to play the same 3 default maps. I want variety, not the same map 5 games in a row.

Why not just make maps completely random then instead of allowing us to vote? If people can’t vote, the game can’t be swayed into a limited number of choices that others don’t want to play.
Lol actually Halo’s roots are big maps. Halo 1 had a ton of big maps and so did halo 2. Halo 3 did away with that. And that’s left an impression on everyone’s minds since then for some reason.
If there aren’t at least 4 big maps im going to be sorely disappointed with Halo 5 tbh. That’s what I loved about H4 was the size and scale of the maps. That’s not the only thing that matters to me, but whenever I think of halo, I think of H2 Coag 3 Plots or Halo 4 Ragnarok CTF

Finally someone remembers Halo true roots.
Please please PLEASE give me custom button mapping. I’m a bumper jumper in every other shooter, but the bumper jumper setup in this game is far more confusing than using the default setup, which still leads to equally confusing moments. Everyone has their own little quirks on what they’d consider optimized button mapping. Everybody could gain something out of custom mapping.

Good that means it takes more skill to use it if it’s harder to connect.
i think the sniper should be the second best gun in the game like it was in halo 1 in my opinion. i haven’t used the rocket launcher yet but i hope its like halo 2 with the lock on

Halo 5 is going in the right direction, think about the campaign not just multiplayer. Spartans r meant to be the best soldiers of earth and u don’t wont them to be able to sprint or evolve to be better soldiers with new abilities and armor. the only thing bad about the ability u can say is probably the controls they don’t feel natural because of cod. Cod aw did it first so i got used to those controls, if the controls were either more natural or like cod i would be a little happier, but if they don’t i’m ok with it, the controls aren’t bad just not perfect.

as much as people hate it, money was flowing to other shooters. the success of COD and Battlefield cannot be denied. so things got changed up. i think this is a nice balance of having shields, while getting that quick moving and, at times, frantic shooting.
343 just needs to be careful about not become TOO MUCH like COD. for example, in breakout mode melee kills are 1 hit kills. that’s from any direction, a one hit kill. since the breakout map is so close quarters, this happens more often than it should. a 2 hit melee (from full shields) is more appropriate.
the floating aim thing, i’ll admit, is not really needed. i don’t mind so much though because it usually REALLY exposes the idiots using it and is basically a free kill, even for people with sub-par aim.
otherwise i really like this so far. the game is moving the franchise forward.
why not for halo 5 put in bloodline and sandstone from MCC, we want big maps and they r the best halo has to offer i think.
