Hunters can bat away grenades with their shields and Jackals can melee with their shields. More signs that 343i is codifying Halo.

The person playing is irritatingly bad though. I wish I was a game journalist or at least a popular youtuber, I can do so much better than all of these guys.

Indeed. Despite being surrounded by a group of Spartans, those Hunters did a good job of constantly turning to face each threat. Never leaving their back exposed to a single spartan for too long. Definitely improvements to the AI.
Does anyone know if they go Berserk again like they use to when one died? Disappointing that in Halo 4 they took that out.
