Halo 5 Hunters Ally with Humans

Because they have no reason to stay with the Covenant. They never wanted to join they just didn’t want their people destroyed. Now they number in the…trillions i think. If it only takes about 40 worms to make a Hunter than i say they should have their own faction in Halo 5. They are smart, cunning and are more powerful than anything else in Halo besides a Precursor and maybe Forerunners. The only reason Hunters have their backs exposed is so if they rebel the Covenant have an easy way to bring them down. This is good for their society but bad for war. IF hunters where to ban togehter because they can use covenant tech better than grunts and know the systems far better than drones so in that case they should be able to easily make their own faction in Halo 5. I think this would add in so many new foes such as

Lekgolo.

Golden Hunters from ODST with single shoots.

Standard Mgalekgolo

Needler Hunters

Jet Pack Hunters

Dual Shields with a fuel rod cannon in each hand was well

Camo Hunters

Smaller Hunter Classes could act like crawlers and super powerful skirmishers and they already have scarabs and Hunter Lords (nickname) from Halo Legends. We already know scarabs can fly so those could be their means of transport…that however is a little crazy to fight scarabs everytime they get reinforcements but Hey you are fighting a powerful force. Also the title and story writes itself.

Halo: Rise of the Hunters

> We already know scarabs can fly so those could be their means of transport

Scarabs can fly?
i wasn’t aware…

yes i know…why the

now I feel bad for hunters

Agreed. It would be awesome.

Hunters and maybe Engineers could also switch sides maybe?

Gameplay wise, why? Hunters provide a unique and iconic challenge in a halo game, taking them out would make fighting the covenant even more bland.

The Hunters only worked for the Brutes and Prophets because they were forced t do it… But over time the Hunters gained a massive respect for the Elites. When the Schism happened, several Hunters chose to join the Elites and fight against the Covenant. But by the events of Halo 3, the Prophets and Brutes figured out a way to force their loyalty.

It makes perfect sense that after all is said and done, the Hunters would sooner join the Storm and fight with the Elites than the Humans they know almost nothing about.

Yeah they can fly remember. Right before you fight the two scarabs.

and why do you feel bad for the hunters.

Those Scarabs were dropped from Orbit. They weren’t flying.

True but the Storm Covenant would see them as slaves while The New Sangheili Order sees them as more. We are allies with the Order so them being with us isn’t farfected.

Also don’t a few covenant species live on Earth at this point in Halo lore.

feel bad for the threat to fight part , also I think some should still fight the unsc because they are a challenge

Impossible Rtas even said Truths fleet lies in ruins.

> feel bad for the threat to fight part , also I think some should still fight the unsc because they are a challenge

Okay…i understand now…but i show of made the title a little different because having them as a foe is fun.

Just because they defeated most of the Fleet, doesn’t mean there weren’t still some remnants still in orbit.

Not to be an -Yoink- but…this.

> Jet Pack Hunters

Now think what would happen if you combined all your other suggestions, and then did this.

Nightmare fuel right there. LASO with those running around? Wouldn’t that just be charming :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, I’d prefer the hunters to stay enemies, but they definitely need some advancement. For such a formiddable opponent, you’d think they’d be the first to get some upgrades…

Yeah thinking about fighting Jet Pack Hunters on LASO doesn’t sound like fun…but that is why we love LASO right.

He generalized the entire Fleet. Like I said, some remnants were likely still in orbit. Just because you defeated a fleet of ships doesn’t mean they’ve all been destroyed, it just means they have lost the battle.

As well, it wasn’t the entire fleet that the Elites engaged, several Covenant ships were down near the surface of the planet when that battle happened, all of those ships would still have survived.

I’m pretty sure the only thing that was left of the fleet was rubble otherwise they would of done alot more than send down two scarabs to hold them off. They would of literally flown ships into the ground to the UNSC marines there.
