Halo 5 HUD

I’m sure many of us have played an RPG game, where you got into a party with other teammates. Their healthbars displayed somewhere usually in the top left of your screen… In Halo up till now, we have had waypoints for our allies, with minor information of knowing if they might be in combat, or when they die. My question is, would it be beneficial now with so much more emphasis on teams covering each other, if we were either given info on our HUD, or allowed to toggle the info on our HUD to apply our teammate’s shield bar in some small area of our game screen?

It wouldn’t’ be large, but enough to know just how healthy your teammates were, rather than trying to guess just how badly shot up they were. It wouldn’t show us their healthbar, or how soon till their shield’s recharged, but just a piece of data so that we could be more in touch with those we were asking to cover us, or for us to cover them.

Maybe if the color of the arrow that points at them changes as your teammate is damaged. While undamaged it’s blue, if the shields are going down it’s yellow, and if they have no shields the arrow is red.
Having a separate marker in the HUD would be a bit too much.

What I’m hoping for on the HUD is the flashing lights the Spartan teams use to acknowledge orders in the books. It would be amazing to hear Chief bark an order and see three lights wink on the HUD, just like I’ve been imagining for ten years now.

As far as health goes, I would definitely like to see this. May only work in Double Team or Multi- Team though. It would clutter the HUD in big team or team slayer even. Unless there was a proximity thing, like the closest Spartan to you had a small health meter on the HUD…

I don’t know it sounds fun  Toss it into the game! Lol

I could see this being beneficial in campaign, maybe multiplayer.

Just described every halo up until halo 4

Sounds useful, but that would be waaaay too many things on the screen. Just think about BTB#

This would be a really neat idea if they could pull it off right without having too much clutter and only for small teams. It also would be cool to imagine that Squad leaders would have this sort of information on their HUD.
