It’s obvious the Didact is speaking.
But it sounds like he’s giving a statement to a courthouse.
I feel like maybe the prologue of Halo 5 will be him in front of a group of other Forerunners, being “accused of the sin of ensuring Forerunner ascendency”.

What makes you think that?
Could be that he manages to rile up something worse than Prometheans and Composers in Halo 5.

I 100% agree with you that the Didact was a one dimensional villain. He didn’t really die at the end of H4 so I’m sure that he will be back to bore us in H5.
Why do you feel that 343i would make a non-Halo game before H5? Microsoft created 343i to make Halo games.

I remember reading somewhere that 343i next Halo game will be a “spin-off” like Halo Wars and Halo 3: ODST was. Trying to find where i read it, driving me nuts as i cannot find it. Will update once i find it 
So, if there are a bunch of other Forerunners running around in Halo 5. I’m calling it quits.
If it was in four and they became playable in multi like Elites. That’d been cool. Though i’d assume they’d be allies, on top of Elites. (However I didn’t imagine they’d look as dumb as they ended up being. I liked their white suits that was shown at some point.)
But now… Eh, the Didact is pretty much the worst Halo villain in the games. Simplicity isn’t bad when done right. (Gravemind. It consumes to grow bigger, and probably stronger, it IS it’s nature.) But for these guys, way too narrow minded to be a interesting villain. “Humanz r bad!11!! Even though I know they were just trying to stop Flood Outbreaks and was fleeing from them.”
343 Guilty Spark. Containment protocol. Of course, I think he was rampant, but still.
Prophets. (And most Covenant forces.) Religious hierarchy. Prophets wanted humans dead so the truth of them being the Reclaimers would not get out and they could keep power. Fair 'nuff. The rest believed the lies and wanted to kill the supposed offense to their religion, or whatever we were. Or are paid to.
But this guy, just plain prejudice.

i think he means that they will be making a spinoff first
the answer to why he feels the way he does about the humans are in the terminals and hes talking to an army at the end of HALO 4 frankie says theat HALO5 will be the darkest HALO we will have ever played so thers that and the fact the chief is now the equivalent to that of an ancient human plus his augmentaion so now hes 300% badass im so lookin forward to HALO5 but i hope they revamp HALO2 like they did anniversary

Infinity’s purpose was to find the other Halo rings, and probably other Forerunner places along the way

I’m pretty sure you’re thinking of Halo 2 Anniversary. It’s not official, but it’s obvious.
And the Didact is not one-dimensional, you just have to learn the backstory to find that out. Not blaming you for thinking that, though. They didn’t do a good job of presenting the whole deal in the game.
When Master Chief was talking to the Librarian, she talked about how pretty much everything about the humans was the result of “thousands of generations of planning.” He asks “planning for what?” but she doesn’t have time to tell him.
Surely having an immunity to the composer, his “combat skin” (the Mjolnir armor/enhancements of the SPARTAN program)and his “ancilla” Cortana, weren’t just for upholding the “Mantle” (of responsibility to protect life etc)
Ancilla not only means “female servant” in latin, but an aid to achieving or mastering something difficult. If the Librarian had planned for humans to create an AI of Cortana’s level, there must be more behind it than to defeat the Didact…considering he was imprisoned and she had no way of knowing he would eventually be set free.
I’m thinking the Precursors will show their face. It is possible they are still around considering they were a multi-galactic race and (probably) created the Flood (the parasite referred to by the Librarian)
Why do all that planning and planting of “seeds” if only to make sure the Didact didn’t succeed millenia in the future. Frankie helped create Halo and the main reason he is at 343 is to make sure the canon is sound. Halo 5 is going to be sweet.

If you read the Forerunner books, you’ll see there is a reason for everything the Didact does. He is a much better villain than Truth.
