I don’t understand why 343 industry add it 2 more armors the same for helioskrill to be open by purchasing reckpacks. I took all my time to beat the legendary halo 1234 to unlock the armor even i was told that there was no way to unlock helioskrill unless you beat the master chief collection. To me its the armor except the colors thats all . I do not agree.
They said that helioskrill would be added to the drop pool later and honestly I’m glad they did or else it would be an armor you would have to actually pay 60 dollars to get and then put work into just to get it
Well they do it because more req, more money, but i really not care if its exclusive or not, if I can get the armor I like then im happy with that.
So much for taking the time to beat everything on Legendary…

It’s not very fair, that they are now giving the armor away after you earned it, but they do own the game, and can do as they wish. I’m glad others can use it. You did earn the armor and can be proud of that. Probably small honor.

Don’t worry, I feel the same exact way about the whole Helioskrill situation. The problem with changing up the skins is that the armor itself is not changed. When in the battlefield, another player will just see the armor and not the skin change, it goes unnoticed. So now no one is going to think, “Oh, there’s that guy, he has that extremely rare armor!”, because every guy has some form of it running around now.
I dislike that they give exclusive armors out to the public after some time, it defeats the purpose of it being “exclusive”. Furthermore, the whole idea with coming out with Helioskrill armor for completing every Halo MCC mission on legendary was a waste, since there are now 3 types of Helioskrill. /sadface
For example, I earned Recon and the flaming helmet the hard way (I had to literally kiss butt for it) back in Halo 3, after a while Bungie decided to give it out if you completed the vid-master achievements and some other things. I hated the fact that was ever done. I’m someone who loves exclusive things no one can get. I feel at some stage 343 will also release the 343 weapon skins and emblem. Flaming helmet was cool as heck.
Also dont forget that the MCC armor (Original, non variant version) is now also obtainable through Packs.
I find this disappointing, my condolences to all the people who bought Halo the Master Chief Collection in order to acquire the Helio skrill armor for themselves.
It’s just a piece of in game customization, that no one but you give a damn about, I wouldnt make such a great deal about it
I just beat mcc on legendary and got the achievement for it should I still get the Armor for it or do I just have to get it through a few pack I spent a month earning this achievement

Yeah, you should get it instantly. At least you didn’t do it with the mythic skull on. Halo CE man, do not try it.
They dont really owe you anything. You got achievements and an armour set as a badge. Look at the original Halo CE and 2, you know what you get for beating them on legendary? A cutscene. Halo 5? A cutscene and achievement(s).
Besides not that many people have the new ones, and not many will for a while. You still gotta get lucky with the req system.
Extremely rare armour you say? I see it all the time, even before they stuck it in the req pool. Be exciting and wear soldier, valkyrie or athlon, havent seen those in use for forever.
EDIT, just noticed your guy is wearing COPPERHEAD, so why are you complaining? Thats a rare set if anything.

Helioscrill whatever the name is it should unlock one you complete all 4 games one you get the achievement on the last game the armor should be already there one you simply switch to halo 5 and check your armory.
So the only way to unlock the helio skrill armor is to pass halo 1-4 mcc campaign on legendary?
