So in the forums I’ve noticed a lot of people are pretty upset by a lot of Halo 5’s changes. And that’s ok. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just hope that we can all talk about these changes and respect each other and be respectful to 343 as well. I see a lot of people telling 343 to -Yoink- off and for a team that’s been working on this game for as long as they have been that must really hurt. We are all really emotionally attached to Halo, but let’s at least see if some of these changes are worthwhile or not. If they aren’t, then we can go and let 343 know. I think Halo 5 looks like a lot of fun, sure it’s different, but I’ll at least give it somewhat of a chance first. I’d like to know what you guys think about Halo 5 too, just try to keep it calm please? Thanks

Halo 5 tosses out Halo’s core?
Halo 5 is the first new installation that has been released since 2007 to incorporate and support the core experience of Halo.
Remember Halo Reach? Halo 4? Worlds different from Halo 5. Those are the games that refused to hold true to Halo’s roots. Stop spouting off these comments without putting any thought into them. There is such a massive amount of forgetfulness on these forums that just so happens to support the narrow minded negative thinking people like you put out. Try to look at Halo 5 from a neutral perspective. It may just add some intelligence to your comments.

I did see somewhere that someone said Halo 5 would make a great arena shooter but only a ok/good Halo arena shooter. I’ve al;ways felt that was a slight distinction but a very important one. It says to me that this game is close, but just needs a little something to get to awesome Halo status. Regardless, I’m sure I’ll have fun with the game

No it hasn’t, there nothing in Halo 5 that even relates to what the core experience of what Halo was about. Also I remember Reach annoying a lot of people but at least it was more like a Halo game at it’s core but then Halo 4 dumbed down it down further to a point where we was lucky to get anything with plenty of things being removed. I find it ironic that also forgetting that a lot of content was removed that have been replaced by minor additions that most people hate. I have been trying to look at it a neutral point of view, so far it seems like uninteresting game by itself, a bad Halo game. If the the 5th game wasn’t related to Halo, was part of a completely different IP then I wouldn’t buy it but the fact that’s is Halo I feel forced to buy for the sake of continuing to explore the lore which I have tried to enjoy, even if 343i ruined the game design.
People are more radical these days about the little things in life. People tend to forget this is a game, and not real life.
