Halo 5 has more content than other 1p games

If you’ve been keeping up with the big titles hitting the marketplace this season you probably, like me, realized that Halo is one of the games with the most content in it from day 1 release. We have a fresh new multiplayer with altering playlists, a thrilling campaign, forge 5.0 (its a joke relax), and Warzone. A PvE/PvP chaotic mode.

No strictly PvE mode is present witch is VERY disappointing since we’ve come to expect such a thing since ODST, Reach and H4 had such a mode. But hey, what can you do?

Anyway if you compare halo to others games this is how it looks.

CoD will be CoD of course. Nothing more than a copy and paste campaign and multiplayer. And no, biting off of titanfall and adding jetpacks is not innovative, sorry. The beta was a absolute wreck. And a zombie survival mode, which LOOKS good.

Star Wars Battlefront is disappointing with the lack of different planets, a campaign, a generic survival mode, and a fun multiplayer. Gameplay was extremely fun, but nothing really groundbreaking as was expected, but it gets old if you tried the beta. You can only do so much in the game that you’ll be asking for more after a couple months.

Destiny: I haven’t played Destiny since it’s launch and what made me stop playing was its incredible lack of content at launch. I refuse to buy any of these expansions since the initial story was just terrible. I feel the need to include it since it’s still out coming out with content.

Rainbow Six Siege looks very entertaining but you cant do much with such an intense game like that. NOT SAYING ITS BAD, i actually like it a lot, but it is what it is.

Gears of War Ultimate Edition will always be up to par with Halo multiplayer. It’s just as competitive and fun. But it also lacks horde (probably the most fun survival mode so far.) Campaign maybe not as fun, but still good.

This is only 1st person shooters and 3rd person shooters im mentioning. I wont mention Fallout 4 or anything like that. But if i missed a big release let me know, and let me know what you think.

Black Ops 3 and AW are definitely not copy and pastes of their predecessors. Just throwing that out there.

That is true but I can just play Titanfall and get the same thing only now there’s giant mechs. Oh and the map packs are free.

Somewhat, the core gameplay feel is still very present. If you play BO3 or AW it’s very clear you’r playing a COD game.

Regardless, advanced warfare was my final COD game. Unless they decide to go back to world war 2, then i’m back on board. Nothing would please me more than a modern WW2 shooter with a big budget.

Yes, even cod haters have to admit that .

Meh Blops 3 felt and played like CoD… it was the offspring of Destiny, Titanfall, and CoD. I’m only getting because my wife loves zombies.

Black Ops is Black Ops. The only thing worthwhile is the zombies mode as far as I’m concerned. Also, apparently the campaign was cut from the last gen version of the game. Folks are projecting that COD will eventually go the way of multiplayer-only since people haven’t really cared about the campaign since MW1 and MW2. Creating these campaigns are too expensive for the fanbase to not be fully invested, so there’s that.

Battlefront is fun in a “Star Wars nostalgia” kind of way. But it gets extremely dull extremely fast. The gameplay is a bit too cut and dry for actual longevity, and the rebels vs the empire dynamic has been proven to be ridiculously imbalanced in the case of Walker Assault. Plus, there’s no Jedi aside from Luke and Vader powerups. That’s hardly fun. The lack of a single player campaign in a franchise where people are drawn to the STORY and the universe only hurts it.

Destiny… well I still play Destiny, and I enjoy the Taken King expansion a great deal, but the momentum is slowing down to a nice steady pace, well enough to not hurt Halo 5’s launch or numbers. The games are fundamentally different enough to co-exist without either being abandoned by someone who happens to own and enjoy both (such as myself). If I want to play something competitive or throw myself in a great story, Halo 5. If I want to do some casual co-op activities with my people in a world of “our own,” Destiny.

Rainbow Six looks pretty boring IMO. Mainstream audiences are having a hard time bringing themselves to care about YET ANOTHER “realistic military shooter.” The genre is definitely falling off.

Gears of War Ultimate edition is just another remake with a smaller mainstream audience than Halo. I’m feeling extremely “meh” about it.

Fallout 4 is its own animal, entirely.

Halo 5 is a breath of fresh air in terms of content even while coming with less than what we’re used to. Decently long campaign, Warzone, some solid arena variants with free DLC down the road, plus having the most diverse original character lineup is exactly what a game experience should be about. Were it not for the Witcher 3 or Fallout 4, I wouldn’t be surprised if Halo 5 was crowned GOTY.

It really was, but they just added jet packs and lasers. Its black ops in the future

Agreed. Although it is sad tactical games like rainbow six are falling off.

I think rainbow looks awesome, but it seems like the kind of game where if you get into a matchmaking game with people who try to go Rambo mode or don’t use their mics then it’s gonna get old fast. And being matched with those kinds of people is extremely likely

… you checked the Halo 5 launch playlists?

Lol. Black Ops 3 will actually have the most different campaign, with character progression, and a squad. Basically think Halo 5 campaign except you can level different abilities and your squad up. (Campaign only.)
The game was in development since before Titanfall, so obviously it didn’t really take from anything there. I think Treyarch is doing a great job with Black Ops 3 as far as innovation and bringing a new things to Call of Duty. Zombies looks great, as well.

Not gonna bother commenting on the other games, but you should do some more research if you’re gonna actually critique some of these games.

Halo 5 has better content than destiny ever did and it’s got more at launch than destiny did. Destiny was basically on the scale of halo 5’s warzone mode. I’ve played both (halo 5’s beta on a friends console) back before I was able to get online. The no split screen really ticks me off because I can’t play with family or friends who are too broke to buy an xbone. So you could say there are ups and downs but still halo 5 has a lot going for it.

Pretty much the same as any other Halo game except we swapped Dubs for SWAT (which I’m 100% behind) and swapped BTB with Warzone. I really have no -Yoinking!- clue what people are finding so shocking about it. It’s like this is baby’s first Halo game or something.

This whole list is very biased based on you and what you think about the games
I’m fine with a person discussing their opinion but your acting like that’s what everyone is thinking.

anyways…

Halo 5 will beat all of theses because of one simple thing
Its Single player will be just as much enjoyed as the multiplayer.

All the other games don’t have both. They all have one or the other (GoW can be argued)

BO3 is AW with wallrunning and more cussing. Yay.

I, personally, don’t think that any of those title can surpass H5… Maybe Battlefront but that’s just cause I’m a hardcore Star Wars fan. Fallout will probaby kick H5’s -Yoink- though.

If that’s true, then Halo 5 is CoD AW with shields and spartans. Yay. Haha.
