Destructible cover
as you can see in this video arround 10:40 halo has destructible cover. The blocks break when shoot at.

Those guys in the video don’t seem to know anything about the lore though, seriously they don’t know who the members of blue team are 
Some cover has been destructible before. But there were very few and mostly in forge. I wonder if this time majority of walls and covers are breakable.

Yeah, like those small concrete barricades in H3 or the road blocks. I’m glad they returned, I got mad when playing H4 legendary and Elites can crouch behind a tiny wall and I can’t shoot it down.

Yeah. I was watching that earlier today and it was quite annoying. They didn’t know who Blue Team was, they didn’t know Buck was a spartan, they didn’t know why chief was staring at his helmet at the beginning, and they talked over the best part of the mission! They couldn’t shut up to appreciate the classic theme when they jumped out of the pelican. Simpletons.

Btw i really hope that 343 actually introduces blue team to the public and not force people to look at outside media. Thats how they screwed up in h4. Surely they wont screw up the exact same way twice expecially when this was the #1 thing pointed out to them with h4.
Been asking for this since the Bungie days. Haven’t been this excited for a Halo game since Reach (coming off Halo 3).
