Ok, I know what it meant. Within 5.5 million custom matches, there were 16.5 million players. Like, if you have a group of seven other friends and you all play a custom game together once a day for a week, that’s counted as 7 custom matches with 56 people.

They weren’t boasting population numbers, I believe that’s just how devs count player numberslike that. That’s not how they report or determine actual player population.
