Halo 5 > Halo 4 and that make me smile

To make sure this does not have any flame wars in it if you cant stand one’s opinion please get of the internet
Halo 4 imo was a @#$# Great game and will always will be far better than reach imo and it did a lot of things right made multiplayer fast paced and stayed fresh and great had far better customization and options to choose from unlike reach and had one of the best campaigns to date

But… it did however have some weird changes that imo where not needed like the binary rifle i know it is a forerunner weapon but if i get hit in the toe why do i get turned into ash, why were most of the unsc weapons either under powered and overpowered and …the bolt-shot…god why
After my bro let me play halo 5 beta i felt like almost all of the problems wont be seen again and that they add more weapons for the reclaimer saga

Personally, I hope the Boltshot is gone. It could be a map pickup and work like the Mauler did in Halo 3, but then what about the Scattershot? I say be gone with it.

I’m a big fan of Halo 4, and I like it more than Reach, but I don’t think I can let you get away with saying it had better customization than Reach … mostly design wise. Reach had some -Yoink!- armor. And yeah, Halo 4 had more, but more isn’t always better.

Halo 4 nailed the classic Mark V look (my avatar for reference; it screams “Combat Evolved”), but Reach’s was weird; they changed the helmet too much and I’m not sure why. Other than that, Reach’s armory was pretty nice. Plus you could earn credits and purchase items you wanted instead of just unlocking weird helmets that looked scary.

But anyway, I like Halo 4 a lot, and I do get why it wasn’t that popular, and I think Halo 5 is moving in the right direction. It plays like a mix of Halo 4 and Halo 3. I’m excited for it.

I liked H4 a lot…
And for the record, multiplayer is a simulation, so getting shot in the foot does count as a kill. Think of a video game inside a video game
And the Promeathean weapons are designed to create more promeatheans via digitizing its victims (as far as I’m concerned). Like when a zombie bites you, you turn into one. Lol

Halo 4 was a very well done game. Especially the campaign imo. Im looking forward to Halo 5.

I don’t believe that’s the case with Promethean weapons. They’re simply meant to destroy the target’s body in order to create insufficient biomass for possible Flood infection. Or reinfection for that matter.

Halo 4 was an exceptional entry into the franchise, all things considered. It probably houses my favorite campaign to date and the multiplayer was fun, although rightfully criticized in some key respects (I.E., loadouts, killstreak rewards, CoD like point system).

Despite these missteps, it was a great game overall IMO. Naturally, I’m really excited for Halo 5 which corrects almost all of the missteps taken in 4 and reestablishes Halo as a competitive and balanced shooter, like it was always meant to be. Can’t wait.

Totally. Destroy the Floods food. Starve them to death. Good plan.

Gameplaywise, I agree with you OP.
When it comes to armor customization, Halo 4 > Halo 5. This actually matters to some people.

Can you further elaborate your opinion? It’s hard to judge the customization options in a game that has only released a beta…
