Worth playing Halo 5 ?

Yes, but the only real problems are:
-Campaign story (read in the spoiler for clarification)
-Not a lot of content, lacking gametypes BUT they will start rolling those in in February and beyond.
Not sure how you’ll feel about these things, but everything else in the game is amazingly good! The gameplay has never been this balanced since Halo 3 with same weapons starts, awesome forge, equal starting armor abilities, and very minor and few bugs.
It is basically “man vs. machine” cliche plot.

Multiplayer is very well balanced, all guns are usable, new abilities are fun, graphics are solid, only bad thing is not many gametypes.
Warzone is badass, and Arena is great.
It’s a lot of fun. If you don’t see it as a good halo experience, you’ll at least see it as a good video game experience.
No. Maybe if 343i gave you a completed game it would be. I’d wait and ask again in June to see if it is finally a full game worth buying, unless the population completely drops off by then. I have been playing Halo: Reach again and it has significantly more launch content and a far better story.

That’s exactly what I was thinking too when I read that…“dense”…WTF? Seriously? Obviously he must be referring to REACH, not H5.

No, but neither does Halo 5. Most of these “191 unique armour sets” are just the same old terrible looking armours with even worse skins on them. I mean, we have what… 5 variations on Athlon? 6 Mark VI? 3 Seeker? Yeah… So cut that number down by a lot. And on top of that, the customization in this game is so shallow. We can change our helmet, body and visor. Halo 3 let us change our helmet, torso and both shoulders individually. And Reach? Reach had the most in-depth customization of them all.
So sure, Halo 5 may have a higher number of items, But when it’s condensed into fewer categories than we had in Halo 3, the system is far from “dense”, especially when a high percentage of the items look like total gak.

Agreed. I went and played some other games that had better graphics but 30fps and it was torture. I love Halo 5, great game and I’ll be playing it for a while

“halo” 5 has the ability to change your helmet, each shoulder, torso, as well as which emblem and background combination as well as their color? What about your helmet attachments, knees, utility, wrist, armor effect, and firefight voice? What about the playable Elites?

Worth it for sure. You have to understand though that complaining on these forums is as much a part of loving Halo as actually playing the game. It’s what we do. We play, we love the game, we complain about the game. I don’t know why. Yes content is a bit shallow but by June when all the updates are out we’ll be in good shape.

Yes, I think that it is a good game that right now is worth about 40$, but it will become a the 60$ game that it should be in time.
