Halo 5 Guardians Won't show me the cutscenes

Since I got Halo 5 months ago, I have been able to see the cut scenes once, the day I got the game. I’ve tried switching profiles and restarting the Xbox, nothing changes. Soon I plan on installing and reinstalling, and if that doesn’t work, I will end up buying a new copy of the game. Before I go to those last measures, though, I was wondering if anybody else is having this problem, and/or have fixed it.

I had this issue with the digital copy of the game got a disc which solved the problem. Try reinstalling from the disc and the once its done don’t install the update. instead got into offline mode and see if the cut scenes will play if they do there is something in the update that is causing problems with the game. I’m having issues with the game as well I jus got my Xbox and the game less than a week ago and as far as I can tell something with the latest update that is making solo and multiplayer campain modes unplayable for me.

Just to be clear; you aren’t playing in score attack mode are you?

Were you playing score attack by any chance?

That’s the problem. Cutscenes are disabled on Score Attack.
