I’d say this is the most likely reason for it being named Guardians. Chances are that it may be called Guardians (if we only consider forerunners) then we can assume that perhaps some other forerunners come into play in Halo 5.
Anyone think the Iso-Didact is a possibility?
It would be fairly interesting to see some more forerunners that consider themselves “guardians,” and even more so if they don’t agree with the Didact’s ways (which I suspect is likely the case).
