Halo 5: Guardians takes place on Talitsa?

Talitsa. This name my not be very familiar to you, and I don’t blame you. Let me fill you in on why Talitsa could be the planet we fight on in the next Halo game.

The Halo 4 multiplayer map, Outcast takes place in Talitsa, by the way.

  1. On the map, we see flying creatures in the distance, could these be the same as the ones we see in the concept art?

  2. An advanced network of insurrectionists are located on Talitsa, a theme that is well overdue for Halo games. And since John is supposedly doubting things he once thought true, he could be forming relationships with the innies…

3)Talitsa has two celestial objects in its sky, as seen on the map, and again in the concept art, these objects look nothing alike, but still a correlation. Plus, it’s concept art. It’s not exact.

  1. Wetwork class armor was first tested in Talitsa. It may just be me, but does the unknown spartan on the boxart look the slightest itty bitty bit like wetwork, or at least a prototype, And do note it says “targeting of key rebel leaders” this could mean John, as he could be forming a relationship with the innies…

  2. The terrain is SOOO similar look at the concept art and look at the map, all sand, and we know that’s important to H5. And there’s evidence that most of the planet is desert. Remember those flying creatures a couple clues ago? Living non-human creatures suggests that there was life before the colonization of the planet, which means Terra formation wouldn’t be needed, which would explain why Talitsa is vast, harsh desert.

So, this is what I think the story is going to be about, with this small bit of info:

John leaves the Infinity to join the Insurrectionist movement on Talitsa. A highly classified team of Spartans wearing prototype wetwork armor, are sent to find John, and kill him, along with as many innies as they can. The squad is successful, but with losses 'cause they’re up against the Chief. That cuts them down to one (explaining why there is only one other spartan on the boxart) the rest of the game involves John hiding from innies that think he brought the Spartans there, and the remnat of the spartan squad, all while unraveling the forerunner mystery of Talitsa!

So, what do you guys think? I know it’s not enough info to be confirmed. But I think there are too many simmilaritys to not be noticed.

Maybe, but the lack of a large ringed gas giant in the art speaks against this idea. That and if the statue in the background is Sangheili in nature, even more doubtful.

The sky on any planet looks different from various angles, and a binary star system, with a red moon, would definitely make the sky a complex thing, with TONS of moon/sun phases.

The statue could just be a rock. I highly doubt it’s Sangeili. When was the last time you saw an Elite using stone for anything. It could however be Brute, as many before me have theorized that the Brutes and Innies have teamed up.

It wouldn’t make sense in enemy territory, but we have yet to establish it IS in enemy territory for a Sangheili and the rock looks to well detailed to just be a rock. Honestly, we don’t know if it is human architecture either.

Honestly, to me the statue looks like a Promethean Warrior-Servant carrying a Lightrifle.

> Honestly, to me the statue looks like a Promethean Warrior-Servant carrying a Lightrifle.

Yet there is no giant back on the statue or triangular shaped head.

Not a Promethean Knight, a Promethean Warrior-Servant. Take a look at the video shown during the Librarian’s narration in the Halo 4 campaign.
