Dear, who ever reads this.
I would like a legitimate reason why any form of split screen in halo 5 guardians is being removed, I know you stated it was because of the Xbox one wasn’t able to run the game at 60 frames per second with the multiple screens. But I don’t see why the frame rate could be lowered for those playing split screen. Honestly it would be barely noticeable, and there are many who wouldn’t mind the change in frame rate for the ability to play with their friends, who say can’t afford an xbox one, or don’t want to buy multiple Xbox ones and games to play with each other. My point is that this feature has been around since the Halo: CE and is one of the defining features of Halo as a whole, personally it’s one feature that makes me choose Halo over other first person shooters, I know this one email won’t change your mind on how the game will be released, but removing this feature from you’re game will not end well for your fan base. My hope is that Halo doesn’t turn in to games like titan fall, and Evolve who’s life spans are very short. All in all I go back to my original request, give me a legitimate reason that you are choosing frame rate over a key and fundamental game play feature that has been in Halo since the beginning.
Sincerely, a fan.
This is an email I sent to their Community@halowaypoint.com email, it led me here the message above is a message to 343i, and honestly its a question for everyone on these forums to answer as well. Is removing one of Halo’s defining features, a feature that has been here since the beginning worth 60 frames.
