Halo 5 Guardians Soundtrack

Well just wanted to generate some controversy on this issue, and wanted to know who prefer the good community like Halo 5 Guardians know this almost one year of being in our hands so as they would like it to be the soundtrack? They would like it to be composed of the recent composer Neil Davidge Halo 4 or the recently fired Bungie composer who has composed the music of the classic games of Martin O’Donnell saga? Or better both! Well although this is somewhat unlikely seriously love to me.

Well what is your opinion?

If I’m correct, the lead composer is Kazuma Jinnouchi, the creator of the masterpiece “117”.

I’m pretty psyched about that. I’m in love with 117.

Perfect. The tracks he did himself were the best in the soundtrack.

Yes! Didn’t he also help with the Never Forget remaster? He definitely made my favorite songs on the soundtrack. 117 definitely sounded the most like Halo.

I actually met that guy. He’s super nice, did some really good work in Halo 4 too.

As I’ve said from the beginning I am okay with a new composer for this trilogy (or saga, whatever it is). I am of the opinion that Neil’s music fit well for the tone of Halo 4. Now, who would I rather see do the Guardians soundtrack is Kazuma Jinnouchi like others have said before me.

My personal favorite in the series.

I’m glad that Kazuma is the lead composer, his soundtracks in Halo 4 were amazing and he deserves more credit.
There is not a single soundtrack composed by him that I didn’t like in Halo 4.

The little bit that we have heard sounds awesome. The beta trailer and the Halo: Xbox One trailers had awesome tracks in the background, so I’m pretty optimistic.

Seeing as it’s a continuation of Halo 4, I’m hoping they carry on the themes and style from Halo 4’s soundtrack and add some classic tunes back in there

I’d be all over Marty doing the OST again.

I really like halo 4 soundtrack, but it would be even more awesome if they hire marty o donnel to work to together with the new guy

I would surely prefer Martin O’Donnel on Neil Davidge

It’ll probably be awesome like all the other games.

im sure it will be great

halo music is always great

Personally, Marty better crafted the music to my liking. He made it sound more… in depth… it sunk into the game and fit into the environment. In my opinion, Halo 4’s music felt too common and really just didn’t fit Halo’s style.

Therefore, I’m gonna have to go with Marty.

I won’t say there weren’t exceptions: Ascendancy, Arrival, and 117 were all amazing tracks, in my opinion. Wreckage actually fits the Halo theme, too.

I really liked Halo 4’s soundtrack, but I’d much prefer good old Marty as well. Nothing is better than Marty and the phenomenal music he created for the franchise. I’d be psyched to see Marty team up with 343 to get back into composing for Halo. Hell, the fact that the famous Halo theme was absent from Halo 4 still baffles my mind.
