Does anyone else have a problem with the req system on Halo 5 Guardians?
For months I haven’t been able to enjoy Halo 5 because I Cannot access my boosts or req points or any of that!
Yeah, that sounds like a problem on your end since I havn’t heard of others with that problem lasting for months.
Start up the game, try to load reqs, if it says it can’t dashboard and exit game, start up again and it should work.
Ive done that a million times, Ive restarted the xbox even, ive restarted the router, everything on the internet and everything else works fine
just not halo 5 its been months. Everything else works fine its not my end.
Could you please xpost videos of it? It seems very odd.
Yeah Ill reload Halo 5 and play it for a bit then itl pop up saying the req system is unavailable itl say I have zero req points and no boosts!

In addition to giving your console and router a hard reset, you might also want to try:
- Reinstalling Halo 5 - Deleting your Halo 5 profile data from your Xbox HDD (this step is dangerous if done wrong, so look up a guide)
Since the problem has started about 4 months ago, Ive reset the game the xbox the router, bought a new router, reinstalled the game, hooked up a wire connection, made sure network was good and NAT was set to open and yet this problem is still accuring every 15 minutes I play and I haven’t enjoyed the game in a long time because of it.
This seems very odd, it happened to me rarely and when it did it was fixed not long after.
It might be a port on your router?
For me this happens every time I start Halo 5. I will see no req points or boosts and cannot see any req information. Once I search for a game it will take 1 min then all the info will be there.
I have never once started Halo 5 and had my reqs and boosts available from the start. It is not an issue for me as they do eventually load but I do have times where I find a game fast and cannot select a boost which is frustrating.
When I join a Warzone game in progress, I can’t select and weapons until I spawn and get a req from a base.
My suggestion is to just select a game and just wait a bit, It should load.

There are two times the retrieving data error occurs. At the start of the game and at the end of a match. When you first load H5, you have to wait a minute or two for the req’s to load prior to going into matching. This film shows how this works.
If you get retrieving error, after a match the only thing you can do is quit h5 and start the above process over again.

I do this every time. Load the game, try the REQ system, exit the game, load the game, then they work for me.

In your router the NAT must be open, if it does not cause problems of that type and problems to join games or things like that-
