So I went on Youtube and did some serious researching. The first Thing I saw was a couple matches of the H5MB. The graphics, the movement, the lighting, and the new map had amazed me. They added all kinds of new things. First of all, a disadvantage is that your shields won’t recharge while you are running/sprinting. You will have to strategize how to keep those shields up. Another thing is that they took out loadouts so the gamemode forces you to use a particular weapon, like the old halos. One thing that I thought was really cool was that they added stuff like ground pounds and side swipes. This can inflict devastating damage apon the victim. They had put in something called “smart-scope.” This is already in COD:BO. It is where the Spartan raises his weapon to look through the scope but its not a full screen scope. Very cool. There is also a climb feature where when you hit a ledge, press up on the joystick, the Spartan climbs up onto the ledge.
A lot of neat features, but then I saw a leaked H5 campaign cutscene. It had Agent Locke aboard a Litch with the arbiter. If you look closly you could see other Spartans visors in the backround. there is a holopanel in the backround with that huge forunner phoenix introduced in the trailer. Locke said he is hunting for the Mastercheif and said the unsc wants him back. He Kind of sounds like he could be bad news but we will have to wait and see if he is the antag or the protag.
At the beginning of halo 4, Dr. Halsey was intervewed by a secret oni worker. There is a possibility that the interrogator could be Agent Locke, Since Locke was oni’s best agent. Halsey was praised by the covenant after the separation of the two halves of the Janice key, then she said she wanted revenge against the unsc. Halsey and Jul Mdama could be the bad guys in halo 5. At the end of the Halo 5 campaign I think the two halves of the Janice key could reunite again and reveal every forunner installation in the galaxy.
Halsey Clearly regrets betraying the unsc because she had actually bonded with the young john 117 in training. John could have discovered Halsey’s betrayal. This could be a reason that the master chief went rouge, Even though he is mostly heartbroken by cortana’s death.
