Halo 5 Guardians PC?

of course it didnt as xbl gold does not exist on pc. it’s just xbl.

gold was just on consoles and only existed to make them more money by charging extra just to able to play multiplayer which i’ve always thought was bs.

i never bothered with gold as i saw it as a ripoff and scummy. i just used a few free trials i got with games but since i only play campaigns it didn’t bother me.

what i hated was forge and warzone firefight not being usable offline on halo 5.

h5 forge pc sucked because it was totally online only. couldn’t use any of it offline and the fact it only includd forge and customs games is why it failed so quickly and was free.

Option 3 wouldn’t work. Infinite’s inferior and stale gameplay would clash way too greatly with H5! Plus, 343 is just too afraid to even put in H5 armors completely untouched in Infinite, and yet they think it’s A-OK to put completely stupid, out-of-character cosmetics like cat ears, samurai armor, etc.? My disappointment has peaked higher than Mount Everest.

Yeah thats a good point. If it was attempted it would be half baked on design alone.

that’s what you get when they run out of ideas and opt to just copy what the other big players are doing.

just because it makes a ton of cash, doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.

ubisoft are the worst, you seen the garbage cosmetics they put in rainbow six siege? horrible.

i’ll probably stick to playing infinite campaign and mp bots to avoid players using crappy skins in online matches.

Well, you will still run into the stupid cosmetics even when playing with MP bots. I remember seeing them with yet-unreleased cosmetics before.

if they bring H5 to PC please do not have cross plat-form as it’ll ruin it like the other Halo titles with cheating

Im hoping for Crossplay, but I hope we have the option to toggle between console, PC, or both

only difference is they will be just bots and not annoying real players who aren’t playing for fun but to troll and trash talk you.

i stopped enjoying online mp years ago, because…

cheaters / hackers
toxic chat
loud idiots on headsets
rubber banding / lag
players quitting
unbalanced teams
horrible cosmetics
generally worse experience than singleplayer

not many mp shooters have bots these days, like 99.99% them don’t.

God I honestly can’t wait for when 343i ports Halo 5 to PC fully. It’s probably the most requested thing 343i has right now I’d imagine.

Yeah, same here. They should NOT be making any more excuses to not bring H5 to PC. H5 would easily flourish on PC, especially if it gets modding support, upgraded optimization, and bug fixes like MCC.

On a side note, even indie game devs like Croteam have done better with updating OLD games. Just look at Serious Sam 2 for instance. A 2005 game which got a few updates here and there when it was released on Steam in 2012. Fast forward to 2021… it gets a surprise MAJOR update with bug fixes and new content, including two new weapons, dual wielding, sprinting, enemy multipliers, and more! If that can happen, I don’t see why H5 should not get a fully fledged PC port at all.

Well we always got the excuse that if 343i did do a full fledged Halo 5 PC port, it’d literally kill Halo Infinite over night. No one would wanna play Infinite anymore, hell it’d probably kill quite a large chunk of MCC’s concurrent player base as well. At least it’d bring thousands of Halo fans back to the franchise which is definitely a positive.

well i wish the port would hurry up and materialize as infinite is shambolic.

never been more letdown by a single game like this before.

Agreed. Just got Halo 5: Forge on my PC, for a little bit of that taste on my old Xbox One. The game’s bare minimum, but it’s better than nothing. I wish there was a way to install the full game on my Windows. 343 could actually improve the game by fixing bugs and etc.

5 shoud get ported to pc and a series X upgrade. that’s something the mcc team should be doing right now, mcc has enough content now so i think it’s about time they work on 5.

Probably necroposting at this point. But here is your proof 343 that people still love Halo 5 and want it to properly make it on PC and Xbox Series X and S. Close this if you need to

At this rate it’s a question as to when Halo 5 will come to PC, not if. When?

Yeah, it’s no longer a matter of if, but WHEN. It cannot come soon enough.

Halo 4, Halo 5: Guardians and Halo Infinite all are part of the Reclaimer trilogy. So by refusing Halo 5 to the PC crowd is like ripping out the middle of a novel.

This would be exactly why I feel fairly confident that they will port Halo 5 to PC eventually. Hopefully it doesn’t take near as long as it took PC players to finally finish the fight and get Halo 3.

i would honestly enjoy this gears can be played on pc why not halo 5
