Alright, so I got my Limited Edition OST on the 20th, and the download for the bonus tracks was finally activated today. Now a lot of people are curious as to what they are, so here you go:
“On Deck” - This is a piece of music that plays over and over again in the menu. In fact, I could have sworn this track was already released, but I guess not.
“Preludes” - This tracks was NOT actually composed by Kazuma Jiinouchi, and was not composed for Halo 5 either. It was composed by famous classical composer Claude Debussy, who I’m sure a lot of you are familiar with if you attended elementary school music class. It is the piano piece that plays in the opening cinematic as Halsey is walking into her lab. It was performed by pianist Iain Farrington.
Yes. That is it. Only two bonus tracks. Only one by Kazuma Jinnouchi. Honestly I was hoping for the new version of “To Galaxy” from The Sprint, and maybe a few more unreleased tracks, but nope… this is all the bonus material, unfortunately.
Anyway, I would still recommend getting the LE as there is a ton of bonus content on the discs.
