I want Microsoft studios to continue to develop games on Xbox 360 for future year at least 2016. Development of Xbox 360 versions must be equally developed to next gen and not to be outsources to different or developer who has little experience or not use to make full triple A games. . If the game is equally developed than the only difference is the hardware limitation such as Xbox 360 can’t have advance weather system. These would be accepted by critics and fans and would make things fair. Then fans can see the difference of the game is made by same developer but is different and see how much better next gen offer would increase courage and trust in next gen and the company who makes it. Halo 5 Guardians would still be great as Halo 4 took great, its at 1080p and 30fps locked. There not a good reason not to make Halo 5 Guardians on Xbox 360 there aren’t many limitation. Halo 5 on Xbox One is 720p lower than Xbox One and based what i saw at E3 its really not hat much better than Xbox 360 whose Halo games are visually stunning and in HD and deliver great mulitplayer though its Story mission in Halo 4 are very short for unknown reason and that i need to know. I still want either Halo 5 Guardians, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo the Master Chief collections.
Well, 343i could have released only Halo 2 Anniversary for 360, but the full pack with Halo CE, Halo 3 and Halo 4 and all the MP (The Master Chief Collection) was impossible on 360 regarding of the content.
I’m pretty sure Xbox 360 can’t with Halo 5 Guardians graphics and size, even it should have been announced yet, don’t you think?
As much as I feel for the folks that haven’t picked up the new systems yet, it’s been almost two years. These games are never going to reach their full potential on the new hardware if they have to be scaled down to accommodate the old hardware.
Plus, from the sounds of it, the developers are having a tough enough time optimizing their games for the newer hardware as it is. For example, if they couldn’t get split screen to work in time for Halo 5’s Xbox One launch, there’s no way they could get that running on the Xbox 360.
In closing, keep the 360 servers running for sure. But it’s long overdue to see what these new systems are really capable of, and we can’t do that by watering the games down for a nearly 10 year old console.

That would drag down the Xbox One version and that would be the opposite of what 343 Industries is trying to do! I’m sorry, but if we stick with the old consoles, gaming won’t get better for a long time!

I want this thread to never be created again. See… We can’t always have what we want. If you want to play Halo 5 or MCC, then buy an Xbox One. Simple as that.
Tbh I don’t think Halo fans would like Halo 5 on 360
They would miss out on so much
Example
I played a game called “MiddleEarth: Shadow of Mordor” and it was beautiful on my PC. Played awesome too. Great game.
My friend got it for his 360. The graphics were soooo bad. They were just blurs. It also took forever to load anything. And don’t get me started on the lag.
I felt bad for him because of how much he was missing out.
Halo 5 was built for next gen…I mean they couldn’t even have split screen on the next gen consoles; what makes you think that the 360 could handle the power of Halo 5?!
And you know that they (the OP) are a minor who is still under the care of their mother because… what, exactly? Also, you saying that the Xbone is well worth $350 (American Dollars, I might add) is simply an opinion, which is, obviously, subjective. I, for one, do not see the Xbone being “well worth $350.”
Sorry OP not going to happen the 360 is too weak hardware wise to be able to run Halo 5, as with all consoles eventually its life cycle comes to an end.
