Can someone explain this to me ?

Halo 5 Forge is available as a free download on Windows 10 PC. You have full access to Halo 5’s Forge pallette and the ability to test out maps in custom games with other PC players. There is a server browser as well to help you find custom games.

That product is called Halo 5: Forge Bundle, not Halo 5 Guardians though.
That’s essentially what it means though. You don’t get the full Halo 5 experience on PC, but you get a decent taste of it.

No, what it means is that you don’t add a W10 mention on the Halo 5 Guardians page. It makes no sense since Halo 5 Guardians and Halo 5 Forge are separate packages.
This could be an indication that Halo 5 is coming to PC, we already got confirmation that Infinite will not be Xbox exclusive anymore.
A friend asked support and they replied that Halo 5: Guardians is a Play Anywhere title. That is def not the same as Halo 5: Forge

Careful, MS reps are often completely behind the curve.
We should not take this as confirmation of anything. That said, the timing is well…suspicious to say the least.
It’d be REALLY cool if they did it.

inb4 they announce it at the PC show

Makes no sense to announce it there when they have their own show called Inside Xbox, sure there is no “pc” in the title but it’s the place to announce anything related to Microsoft, and let’s not forget that Windows 10 is now part of the whole Xbox ecosystem.
It makes sense to announce it there instead. Anyhow, if it’s confirmed it’s fantastic. Deep down I would have preferred the Master Chief Collection to at least be announced for W10 even if it would be a while away from release, but Halo 5 and Sunset Overdrive are great consolation.
Come on Microsoft, make it happen.

It makes perfect sense, this way they have more audience as they’ve marketed other stuff in their own show and now are putting a smaller announcement in a different show that caters to the target demographic.
Confirmed to be an error.
Unfortunate, but such things do happen.
Going to close this off to avoid further confusion. This was confirmed as an error by Frank over on resetera
