So this all starts yesterday, I downloaded the digital edition of halo 5, install it and now I can’t even play it. Every time I’ve loaded single player, everything works fine, but the second the level gets loaded everything goes to crap. The first cutscene has huge audio de sync issues ( the audio of Halsey will play for 6 seconds then the screen freezes for 10 then it moves on happening multiple times.) I’ve even tried skipping the cutscene and after that it loads me in as usual and I move forward about 15 seconds past the first half dead enemies, and the audio and subtitles are screwed. 5 seconds later after audio clips loop over each other of people talking the game hard crashes. So single player is screwed. Alright I’ll try warzone, it’s half the reason I bought the game after all. I get into a match, everything goes great for about 5 minutes and then everything, mostly textures, unload all at once making everything look like a bad unreal engine game. Then, a 1 second audio loop of just a loud buzzing noise goes off as the game hard crashes. I’ve tried un installing the game multiple times now and the problems continue to occur. All of my other games work just fine, gears, destiny, resident evil hd, dmc4 HD, battlefield, KI ,Rare replay, everything. They all work fine. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix? Because right now I feel like I just burned $60 in a trash can on a whim that this game would be fun but it’s just been a headache.
I’m having similar problems on one of the last missions in the game called “The Breaking.” Every time I go up the elevator the audio just crazy desynced and the video will freeze, followed by all the audio playing at once, and the game crashing. I’d love to know any fix for this

Did you try the usual? delete game, power off, Reinstall game, unplug console from wall for 10 seconds?
I have the same problem. Except I can’t even get into the game. With campain, when the game loads and the countdown to start the game finishes, the screen goes black like it’s about to start the game, but it just stays black and 10 seconds later the entire xbox reboots (green xbox screen). When I try matchmaking same thing happens except the black screen is accompanied by this gosh awful sound, then the xbox reboots. I’ve tried everything! I contacted xbox support and performed every single troubleshooting procedure they could think of. Nothing! The support guy said to post on waypoint, which I’ve done in a couple of other posts aside from this one. Nobody responds! Has anybody found a fix for this issue yet? The earliest post I’ve found with people reporting this issue was dated for Oct 28. That’s over half a month with no one from 343 responding. Good grief 343! ANSWER!!!
This looks like a corrupted installation
My suggestion:
1 - Uninstall the game.
2 - Clear cache.
3 - Power cycle (unplug console from the wall, wait for the light on the power brick to turn orange).
4 - Install ONLY the game.
5 - Update the game after installation is completed.

I did this and it did not work. Same issue persists.
this is a big problem because I cant even finish the story when I goto resume play it goes back to the dashboard and iam on mission this is a big fail and a let down for me because I was really hyped about this game but when the multiplayer section works just fine 343 industries FIX THS PLEASE!!!.
Has anyone found a fix for this cause this has been happening to me since I got my xbox and it’s really frustrating
